Kotobukiya Marvel: Jean Grey Bishoujo Statue

The Bishoujo line of Marvel's heroines, where classic Marvel characters get redone with Anime style figures and faces, has already done two AMAZING Phoenix statues.  Kotobukiya Marvel Comics: Phoenix Bishoujo Statue   Kotobukiya Marvel Comics: Dark Phoenix Bishoujo Statue ) This is more Jean Grey than Phoenix, and the sculpt is absolutely gorgeous. The colors are vibrant, and the statue is detailed down to the slightest bit. It also comes with a plastic hand attatchment that looks like she's directing a telekinetic blast at something out of view. Furthermore, the base features a smoke cloud with a trio of missiles flying out of the cloud, and the tip of the X-Men's jet, the Blackbird, just peeking out. As a HUGE Jean Grey fan, I couldn't resist this beautiful sculpture, and she exceeded every one of my expectations, which were high to start with. This item is displayed along with all my other Kotobukiya bishoujo statues such as Mytique, Wonder Woman, Storm and others. Here pose is so different from the other figures which make her stand out even so. I love the artistry and time taken in making this particular statue. Kudos to Kotobukiya and staff.

The Kotobukiya line of comic figures is one of the best on the market. The only downfall of this line of figures is that not all the figures are in the same scale. The detail on Jean Grey is stupendous and I love her expression. Get this while the figure is under $100.

I just love this over the Phoenix version, it is larger and so great to look at. Then again I am a fan of the classic X - Men.
