Grout Wand Stick Press-N-Go Tile Grout Sealer Applicator

This is a life saver. Made the job so easy and fast. Two attachments to fit the size of grout. Try to slow down to keep wheel in place so not to waste or spill sealer. I saved hundreds doing this job myself and won't mind maintaining now that I found this to be so easy

I used it to clean the grout & than apply the grout sealer. It was much easier than being on your knees applying it. I’m very satisfied with it.

First, the deviation in ratings by others may be due to the type of sealer used. I was using a solvent based sealer. The wand worked well for me for about ten minutes. Then the sealer started freely flowing from the wand. I noticed that the o-rings of the wand were being affected and interfering with the proper function of the shutoff. If a water base sealer is used, the wand may continue to function. I had also ordered the MD Building grout applicator. It has a wheel applicator lid attached to a hand held bottle. I was able to attach the wheel lid from the MD grout applicator to the plastic handle of the wand. It did take some force, but the wheel lid did screw to the wand handle and did not leak at the connection. The modified wand did work fairly well, but certainly not perfectly. The sealer would easily flow from the modified device. It was certainly worth it to me not having to get on my knees and doing some additional wiping of sealer on the tile.

A simple skinny blue tube which doesn't hold much so refilling is frequent. They could have made it wider to hold more and see through so you could see how much sealer is in the tube. The head leaks constantly but it's a back saver and faster to applying with a brush. The concept is awesome but lots of room for improvement. Covers quicker than most methods.

I used this on my floor before we moved into our newly built home . You will still feel compelled to bend over while using this product however it was an EXCELLANT tool for me! It comes with a wand that you fill with the product that they send you and a small bottle that you can use on shower tile etc . The two wheels they send are just the right size . When you put pressure on the wheel it releases the product that flowed onto the grout. Sometimes I would push a little too hard and it would over flow a bit . It takes a little effort to get down how much pressure you apply. I used the wand for three hours since my house is largely in tile. It dries in about 15 min then I actually put more down especially around the toilets and high traffic areas. Since I did that we have dropped colorful things ( juice, urine around toilet etc ) and it repelled it perfectly ! I do recommend this product. I still have to do the shower however I have confidence it will work just fine .

I used the tool on 1,500 sq ft of tile. Once I made some repairs, it worked very well. However, before that I was ready to toss it it the trash. When I first used it, I noticed the it kept leaking sealer out the applicator head once I turned it to the normal vertical position. I used it successfully on long grout lines, but it made a real mess if stopped or used it on the short cross lines ( My tile is 18 inch by 7 inch planks). Also the peg that holds the grout wheel in place soon started slipping out and allowing the grout wheel to fall off.I took the head apart. The first thing I found was the sealing o-rings were sticking in the bore and preventing the head from springing back and shutting off flow whenever I would stop pressing down on the wand while using. I wound up using a drill bit to ream out the bore by hand (it's all plastic so it wasn't difficult to do) so the o-rings would slide as they should and turn flow on and off. To stop the grout wheel from falling off, I drilled a hole in the axle peg and put a small wire through the hole to keep it in place.After these two modifications, the wand performed absolutely great! It could not have been better. I didn't expect to have to make the changes to overcome the basic design flaws. It's a shame because the overall design is clever and the wand is a major timesaver and back saver when it works correctly.

The key to using the wand is to follow the grout lines and minimize the number of times you lift the wand off the grout. Lifting runs the risk of droplets falling on the tile or whatever surfaces you are grouting between. Before starting the application, plan out your sealing path so you know where you are going. Any droplets should be wiped up immediately before they dry. If they dry, they are more difficult to remove. Once you perfect the application technique, makes the job very easy!!!!!
