I really want to share how impressed I am with this Shark vacuum that I picked up during the Amazon Prime Day sale.First, the suction power is seriously impressive. We have one toddler and two dogs that shed a lot—this vacuum is an absolute life saver. Whether it’s hardwood floors or thick carpet, it picks up everything effortlessly.Second, I also own a Dyson V6 cordless vacuum. While it’s more expensive, it only runs for about 40 minutes per charge. That means I can never clean the whole house in one go. With this Shark vacuum, I don’t have that problem—it gets the job done in one session.Third, the attachments are super handy. I use them to clean tight corners and remove pet hair from the couch. It’s incredibly versatile.Yes, it has a cord and it’s a bit heavier than a cordless one, but for the price and cleaning power, I honestly think this is the best choice out there. Highly recommend it for families and pet owners！

Holy Cheesy and cracker crumbs!!! This vac is my new best friend that it’s ok to be obsessed with!!!! I live with 2 dirty men ( believe me that’s not as fun as it sounds!) and a fur family! This vac made me feel like the worst housekeeper ever! But I JUST throughly vacuumed last night before bed! Got THIS and just gave it a spin to try! Saw instant serious results and couldn’t believe the effect! I have to warn you this is a powerhouse! With it come some weight if you lift the machine (so another plus you gain muscle mass)! Great attachments, long wand !!! I’m addicted! I bought the Shark NV501 Rotator Professional Lift-Away Upright Vacuum with HEPA Filter, Swivel Steering, LED Headlights, Wide Upholstery Tool, Dusting Brush & Crevice Tool, White/Red!! I’m NEVER GOING BACK! Oh, and when you go to dump your debris, you can easily see your filter to check it to make sure that it’s clean. You don’t have to go looking for it at all. Boom it’s right there! Extremely easy to use is a vacuum that’s gonna last and be with you for a while a long long while!

I purchased this vacuum one year ago. I am disabled and this vacuum makes housecleaning easier. I have dogs, a cat and 3 adults. Which means hair everywhere. This vacuum has no problem keeping up with my needs. I use it everywhere, everyday. On linoleum, hard wood and carpet. The lift away feature allows for easy cleaning in high places. The wand detaches as well. It allows me to get into all the nooks and crannies of my home. Its light weight. Very easy to clean. Its the only vacuum I will ever buy. The replacement filters are not expensive either.

pros:-This puppy sucks dirt, pet hair, dust, spider webs, and anything else in the best possible way.-The swivel steering is a very different feel if this is your first swiveler. Being a swivel virgin I'll have to get used to it. It does make approaching a spot from different angles easier.-It feels sturdily built. I worked up a sweat moving it around, unhooking the hand held tank and carrying that around. I liked that I could bring the above-floor wand with it so that I didn't have to squat too much, but when I did the accessory wouldn't lay flat to get the right suction, insert squatting again. Will have to look into other accessories. (later discovered the tool head can be swiveled, there's that word again, to adjust, will have to see how easy that is next time I vacuum)-Did I mention that this thing really has great suction?-The low/floor suction setting is not so loud that my dog was bothered. When I used the high/carpet setting he was out the door.- The suction control slider made it easier to vacuum my bathroom throw matts. It worked especially well on the larger ones, not so well on the small one by the toilet. The vacuum still wanted to eat it. yum yum- The tubing is sturdy and tightly coiled. I hope it relaxes some as it does not give enough leeway while holding the detachable dust cup section.I'll have to work theist cup emptying process out. Like most of these types of tools, when I emptied it a swirl of dust arose from the trash can. It did empty well though. I did not have to reach in and remove any pet hair clumps.- And last but not least, this vacuum got a lot of dust my old one couldn't. I really like that. I hope it lasts.cons:-The cord really is a problem. I get it, with the lift off handle a permanent hook would not work. The little clamp hook by the top cord holder helps, but it still gets tangled. Another clamp hook on the back of the handle would solve this problem. As it is, I held it in the same hand as I held the handle in and it was a bit of a hassle each time I stopped to lift something or change accessories, but it worked. It will get old. I'll figure something out but I would have gathered Shark designers do that.- The dust cup blocks the brush roll indicator light while operating the vacuum in an upright position. Needs better placement.- The accessory holder is useless. In the first room I vacuumed, one or the other of the accessories fell off 4 times before I just took them off and put them aside. Got to another room and needed them so had to go fetch them. Oh bother. Will I have to wear a tool belt for my accessories with this thing?- Will have to figure out a tool for under the bed. The whole upright does not fit and if I use the wand, the little accessory does not lie flat.For now I'll use my swiffer style broom. There has to be a better solution.

This vaccum sucks! Literally! lol It’s fantastic. It has the most amazing auction. The hose is easy to access and use. I vacuumed my couch full of dog hair which I do regularly but I swear my couch is a different color now it’s so clean. It looks like I shampooed it it’s so clean. Guess the last vaccum was leaving behind dirt and dog hair. It is a bit bulky but handles well. Due to the great suction the edges of the floor even got clean and what it didn’t pick up I used the hose. Love that there is 2 options for the hose. Short or long. Very satisfied with this purchase and very affordable.

Awesome & thoughtful design, very functional and easy to use. Attachments are quick to switch and used all the time. The light at the base is critical. (Don't see any dust bunnies on your wood floors? Turn off the room light and you will be shocked at what the vacuum light reveals.) Suction is excellent - couldn't believe what it retrieved from carpet that had already been vacuumed with a different vacuum. "Traditional" size/weight and wrap cord, but it feels like a fair exchange given the quality of the function at this price.
