I do not like the mount, is way different then the one shown on the picture wich was what I paid for!!

I bought this laser last year. I didn't use it much at all until this summer when I made a gravel pad. I did all the earth work assuming the device was within spec, but when it came down to confirming its' accuracy, I found that it is off by a quarter inch at 25 feet. I went to my pond and measured it off the water to confirm that it's aiming high. so, in the end, I have an error of 3/4" across my gravel pad,which isn't so bad, but I was hoping to get the 1/8" that was advertised. other than that, the laser is very usable in broad daylight.edit; I took a look at the user manual, duh, and saw that the laser is adjustable, so I've raised my review one star. it seems to zero to within tolerances.

I absolutely love this laser level! I'm a steel worker and use it quite often. The magnets are very powerful and come in handy when setting elevations and leveling columns and beams. I also use the laser to figure out stair risers and anything else under the sun...literally. Very accurate and self-leveling. I would recommend this to anybody in any field of work.I also wanted to note that I owned this exact same laser for the last 14 years and it still works today. I just ended up giving it to a co-worker because after using it, he became very spoiled with it and did not want to settle for anything less. This is the only reason I even had to buy a new one.

I've owned this laser for about a year. The picture makes this level look like a children's toy but it is anything but. I use this level for laying out piping runs and it has not let me down yet. It is much more accurate than I am. The bottom piece is a magnetic holder with magnets on bottom and the back which are very strong and has a 5/8" thread for a tripod. It comes with a strap which goes through slots for mounting on pipe, etc, which works well though I would suggest getting a better strap than the one it comes with. The actual level is held on the mount by a 1/4-20 so that both thread sizes are available. What has been priceless to me is that the level spins on the mount like a turret--great for layout.I would definitely recommend this unit to a friend

This is a great laser. Super durable and accurate. I use it primarily for remodeling it is useful for framing, siding, and trim. I can’t imagine life without it.

Big enough to do the job, small enough to stay out of the way

Used this level for various projects. Vertical laser makes transferring marks on the floor to ceiling very easy. No trial and error with a plumb bob. X-Y plane lasers great for layout work. Case is really safe for transporting the instrument.
