This is an adorable bear. Soft, cute, well made, sits up nicely, and is of great quality. This was bought for someone as a 90th birthday gift. A Sunday school class was discussing how the teddy bear was named after Theodore Roosevelt and the gentleman mentioned he had NEVER had a teddy bear in all his years. His birthday was the next week and after hunting through many many teddy bear listings, this one was decided upon and when I got it I couldn't have been more pleased. As for the gentlemen, he was thrilled and loved it.

i have always purchased STEIFF STUFFED ANIMALS FOR MYSELF AND GIFTS. THE QUALITY AND DURABILTY FOR THESE PRODUCTS ARE OFF THE CHARTS. I HAVE MY OWN FIRST BEAR AS A CHRISTMAS GIFT FROM MY PARENTS AND IT HAS ENDURED FOR OVER FIFTY YEARS. YES, THERE IS WEAR AND TEAR FOR THE AGE AND USAGE, BUT IT IS STILL A GREAT PURCHASE AND CAN BE HANDED DOWN. NOW I KNOW TIMES HAVE CHANGED AND QUALITY ON EVERYTHING HAS GONE DOWN AS WELL AS THE COST FOR MATERIALS, BUT I TRULY BELIEVE YOU CAN MAKE A QUALITY PRODUCT THAT INCLUDES SIZE. THIS WAS ADVERTISED MUCH BIGGER THAN IT IS. SECONDLY, IT WAS PACKAGED POORLY AND LEFT THE BEAR IN POOR SHAPE WHEN YOU TAKE IT OUT OF THE WRAPPING. WHAT CAN I SAY, I WILL KEEP IT BECAUSE I AM GIVING IT AS A GIFT AND CAN'T ORDER ANOTHER ONE IN TIME. CLUE......I USED THE HAIR DRYER ON COOL SETTING TO GET THE FLUFF BACK.
