Thanks for your question.But this only works on 6 AA Batteries Power SupplyThe Label Printer can be powered by six AA-size alkaline batteries.Replacing BatteriesA handy low battery power indicator lets you know when battery power is gettingtoo low for proper operation. The message "BATT" appears on the displayif battery power is low when you perform any of the following operations.* Turn power on* Execute a print operationWhenever the "BATT" message appears, press SET to clear it from the display.You should still be able to perform some Label Printer operations, but somepower intensive operations (like printing) may become impossible if battery poweris too low. In any case, you should replace batteries as soon as possible afterthe "BATT" message.

Q: it prints flush to the top of the tape, not center. not using the return for two lines. what setting to adjust this. using 9mm tape?

I also use 9mm tape but never two lines. Check your setting for FIXED LAYOUT. Perhaps it's at M-2 which would cause this as it's being told their will be a second line no matter if you've not used the return. Instead use L-1 which will ONLY accept a single line. Hope that helps

I have never had to adjust the margins so I don't know.. The instructions should be able to help you or google for the answer.
