Buy This Now or Regret You Didn't Later
Seriously. This spent over a year on my wish list before I finally got angry enough at hex screws to order the set. Now I think back of all the things in my house -- furniture, bikes, equipment, paintball guns, you name it -- that have hex screws or bolts and am angry at myself for it. This set seems obscure on the surface until you really start to think how much stuff these days comes with hex bolts. The answer's a lot more than you'd expect. You'll use this far more than you anticipate. As a tool and set, it's great. The quality is top-notch and having multiple length bits is superb. I've yet to really run across one that I needed and didn't have. The ratcheting handle works alright but the huge win for these is that they also fit into both impact drills (with the smaller speed chucks) and regular old drill/drivers. Thickness and strength are superb but if you do manage to break it, DeWALT backs these with a lifetime warranty. The ratcheting T handle it also pretty nice if you don't want to dig out a drill to tighten up the loose bolt here and there. It does provide a decent amount of leverage, but I did feel I was over-torquing it a bit when really cranking down on it. It's worth having around for tighter spots or if you're taking this set with you on the go (camping, etc) and don't want to pack an entire shop. The fit of the hex key is also top-notch. Mine don't boast a substantial amount of wear yet so after a few years they may loosen up but -- as of now -- they actually end up sticking in the hex key head which I prefer. Also worth noting that these are straight hex keys. They don't have the ball-end so you won't be able to get them in at angles very well.As others have stated, the case is the achilles heel of this set. It feels cheap, the insert is sub-par for DeWALT and the little bar holding the bits seems always on the verge of breaking. It's also extraordinarily (and unnecessarily) massive. I really hate it. That said, the trade off is a set of T-Handled hex keys which take up a ton of workbench space, a folding set which aren't always ideal, or a 'loose' set which you'll end up having some fall out. In short, the case is bad but no worse than this set's alternatives.I did compare the length of the long bits to a 'regular' Rigid bit case and it looks like they'll fit once empty. If you don't mind the disorganization and these getting banged around a little, you could probably reuse a regular case. I don't have an empty one yet, though, so haven't tried.Side note: once I had this seed planted in my mind, I did look for less expensive alternatives at Harbor Freight, etc since I thought this one was a bit pricey. At that time (May, 2015) I didn't find any. Having now owned this set and used it a surprising amount of times, it's worth the price any day.

Great Product
This product is a fantastic find! It's reasonably priced, making it accessible for most budgets without compromising on quality. The product is exactly as described, and its usefulness cannot be overstated. I've found it to be incredibly practical and efficient in meeting my needs. The attention to detail is impressive, and the performance is on par with more expensive alternatives. If you're looking for something reliable, well-made, and at a fair price point, this is the perfect choice. Highly recommended!

Must Have for a serious Bike Repairman/Shop
So I scouted out many different ways to get the common sizes I need and with the normal Y wrench you cannot get a water bottle on plus other functions are tight if not impossible. This is the set that allows you in close as well as long reach and it fits all the other 1/4 hex driver bits and extensions you may already own. For all it does, and the ratchet seems solid, I even used in last week to put in 3 inch deck screws to mount an American flag bracket. Worked like a charm but I could feel if I wrenched too much on it I could probably break it. However for the price of one park extended tool you can get this whole set -- What do you think is the better deal?A rarity is the case even has room for extra bits which is highly unusual for products in these plastic cases. Perhaps there is another kit put in this same container that has more bits? Anyway for the cost, and Dewalt quality (the handle even has the end at the right also take the bits but it does not ratchet, only the main metal collar part ratchets). About as well made as you will find these days and the bright color is helpful for finding it in a shop full of stuff. I've recently gotten to like Dewalt.

Good Handle and a Good Variety of Sizes
The DeWalt hex key set solved several problems I had including the need for longer hex keys, sturdy hex keys that the edges would not be destroyed through a lot of use, a reversible handle, and a good organization principle. The DeWalt set easily meets those challenges. My biggest problems are: 1. the hex keys are hard for me to remove from the holders in the yellow case because I have arthritis that is steadily growing worse. 2. And, the magnet holding in the hex key bit to the handle is too weak. The bits do not fall out after they are inserted, but they are extremely easy to remove and when taking the key off hex head screws the bits stay behind in the screw and I have to remove them by hand. Very frustrating for me.Nonetheless, it is a good tool set for the aggravating task of dealing with hex nuts.AD2

I love the
I liked it. My husband wasn’t so excited, but he hated it when I bought tools for him to use.
