Darnit, I love these darning needles!
I had been using straight needles to finish my knit/crochet projects until I saw a friend using one of these. I bought two sets right away. I used my new needle last night and it was SO MUCH EASIER than a straight needle. The bent tip grabs the stitch you want without you having to push your hand down to finagle it. The gold-ish color of this needle made it easy to see, the size made it easy to manage, the size of the eye made it easy to 'thread' the yarn through, and the smoothness lets it slide through your stitches.Someone left a review that it felt "cheap". I disagree. I have used plastic embroidery needles in the past, and this is not plastic and does not feel unsubstantial. I like the size and had no trouble with it on my light-worsted-weight project. Perhaps for really thin yarns it might be too big, but it probably depends more on the tightness and elasticity of the stitch/yarn in question.I love the screw-top case the needles come in. I have one for my home bag and one for my on-the-road bag. I am so happy with my purchase!

Fantastic yarn needle kit for knitting or crochet
I absolutely love these needle sets. Needles come in a great case to store them in. I have a couple sets of these as I tend to leave them them in project bags.

Good product
The needle is slightly bent at the end, which is very helpful for weaving in ends of a knitted project. The tubular container is also good for other needles you may have. I also keep a tool for my interchangeable knitting needles in the tube.

My second set of Clover Chiba needles and still very happy wtih them
This time I was buying for the case and the needles were the pleasant surprise. With my original purchase (Clover Chibi with Darning Needles) I wanted the needles and found out how wonderful the case was. It's small, but holds the needles I want. Plus it's brightly colored so it's easy to spot when it's not quite where I'm looking for it. The top is a nice screw on, so no unexpected pop-offs and lost needles. There is even a small loop/hole to run a thin lanyard through if desired. So, last time I wanted the needles (which were fine) but fell in love with the holder. This time I was after a second set (I've taken to keeping some hooks, needles and yarn in various locations...sigh, what an addictive hobby this has become), so I bought these rather than repeating the other set. I REALLY love the needles--light but strong and the gold color is easy on the eyes when running through the yarn. The bent tips I found really make weaving through stitches super easy. All in all a very nice item that makes finishing projects much easier.HIGHLY recommended!JTG

Fastest re-purchase of an item I can remember!
This little case is perfect at its job. It is sturdy and just the right size to hold many needles and a needle threader. I bought it for the case, though this particular option because the price was quite reasonable AND I did not yet have needles with a bent tip.I had a case like this but in green that I carried around for YEARS. It was great. Recently, my daughter snapped the lid off (it looks like it might be a snap lid, to be fair). As soon as I noticed that I knew I would need to get another one, STAT. This shipped from the UK. I'm not sure how that makes financial sense for the seller, but I sure appreciate it!

Great crocheting tool!
I like that the needles have a little bend towards the point. That makes it easier to pry up a stitch. Great purchase!

Handy for storing needles needed for "end weaving" in multi-color crochet ...
I do a lot of needlework -- mostly crochet -- and enjoy using a variety of colors in one project. And as most crocheters know, multiple colors means you have a LOT of ends to weave! I use both yarn (for afghans, mostly, or scarves) and crochet cotton thread (size 10, for doilies, snowflakes, bookmarks, etc.).The needles that come with this little case are great for yarn, just the right size. I purchased some smaller blunt-tipped needles to use with crochet thread and store them in this case, which then goes into my project bag. VERY convenient way to keep them together.Very happy with this! The case is sturdy enough, and the lid screws into the case securely, so I don't worry about ending up with all my needles in the bottom of my project bag. No issues at all. Solid 5 stars.
