Delicious & Fresh!
Would have liked caraway seed in the bread, but this bread is delicious (especially with real butter). After opening the bag and smelling the bread I had do the quality control taste test. I am definitely ordering again before I finish this bread.

Used to be good. Now - not good.
Used to buy this bread quite regularly. The picture the seller provides used to be correct. Not anymore. This time it’s just not the same bread: it’s practically white (see photo) with no flavor & dry. Very disappointing.

Fresh!
Having eaten and bought bread in Lithuania, I can say this is a great Palanga style bread. It's expensive, but well worth the price. I've ordered two or three times and freeze one or two loaves. Got a Russian/East European style rye from another bakery and it wasn't nearly as good. Tasty, toasts well and fries deliciously!

Very satisfied.
Timely delivery. Old school product. Best toasted. Sweet spreads and quality butters work well with it. Goose liver pate with chives and dill if you're not lazy. Or quickly pan seer on thin swipe of oil or lard. Let cool and rub lightly with a clove of fresh garlic. Use your imagination.

then Tru Bread was doing a good job making Lithuanian Rye
We use to have a company here in Chicago called Baltic Bakery, then Tru Bread was doing a good job making Lithuanian Rye, or sour dough rye I would say , This is OK but the crust is not dark and chewy and the in side is brown like Boston bread not grey and soft. So hard to fine real Lithuanian. I guess I could make it my self.

Lithuanian Bread
Exactly what I was looking for a bit expensive but well worth it. Reminds me of my Mother we would always buy several loaves at the festival. Freeze them and have them for several months. Thank you will order again
