I ordered 2 more in the size 1 and they fit her great. She is almost 1 and still wearing them
I got this diaper before i had my daughter thinking that she as going to be a big baby. Boy was I wrong. Its BIG but that was ok. I ordered 2 more in the size 1 and they fit her great. She is almost 1 and still wearing them. (18 LBS) As for this size 2, I use it as a night time diaper. I can stuff it with a newborn pre fold and a small insert and it works great all night long. The only thing that I don't like about AppleCheeks is that you don't get any inserts. You have to buy them separate. I don't have any AppleCheeks Inserts I just use what I have already and it still works. Over all GREAT DIAPER.

Great fit with adjustable sizing but the inserts don't fit as well for the Size 2 diapers
I wanted the flexibility of a pocket style diaper so that we could add layers during naps and at night for our heavy wetter. Applecheeks are snug fitting and the two size system does seem to help make sure that there is a slim fit. They also come in an array of very cute colors and prints. If buying an initial set, The Green Nursery has the best price, so we bought a dozen Size 1 diapers there. But the one size inserts made it possible to just order the Size 2 covers on Amazon, which had a better variety of cute colors. The Size 2 diapers are significantly bigger than the Size 1, so the inserts don't cover the entire surface area. One has to sort of decide whether to leave a bit of gap in front or in the back, and no amount of stretching it out fills out the sides. This wouldn't be so bad except that even when you pull it all the way front, the insert still tends to slide back if you don't keep a tight grip on it. For boys especially, it's really important to make sure there is good protection around the tummy to prevent leaks. Even still, our son did far better in this than Thirsties or BumGenius, and it is reasonably slim underneath clothes for a cloth diaper. A dozen of these plus 3 Kawaii Good Night Heavy Wetters last us 36-48 hours without doing laundry.

These diapers are the best. I have never had any problem with leaks
These diapers are the best. I have never had any problem with leaks, and with the two size system I am able to get a good fit. Plus I love the selection of colors and prints.

I love this diaper!
This is definitely one of my favorite pocket diapers. It's very cute and the lining is very soft. The size 2 fits just right on my 32lb 2 year old, and I mean it JUST fits. I think if he were chunkier it wouldn't fit, so they do tend to run small. I didn't give it five stars for two reasons. The first is the price. It is rather pricy but you're paying for quality so its justifiable. The second reason is that they don't come with inserts and you have to buy them separately. The other name brand pocket diapers I have came with at least two inserts so I had expected the same for these. The good quality 2ply and 3 ply AppleCheeks inserts are very expensive. They do, however, have a micro-terry insert out that's very affordable. You don't have to use AppleCheeks brand inserts with the diapers and could find more affordable options that work for you. Either way I would highly recommend these.

Listen to all reviews, THEY LEAK LIKE CRAZY.
The diaper is cute with nice colors. They also look good when my baby has them on but all of that is nothing when the diaper itself is useless. When other reviewers say it leaks, they don't mean the sides get a little wet. What they mean is that the pee goes through the cover wether it be the front or the back side of it... Doesn't matter. I have two applecheeks and they both leak the same. The inside cover has that plastic laminated lining so that the liquid stays in but for some reason, it still soaks through the front. If you're going to spend money on cloth diapers, just use your money and get yourself a bumgenius, flips, grovia or even rumparooz. They're better than this one. Same price.

Leaks!
These diapers leak, and if you try to contact the company they will blame you. The PLU is crap, and literally within minutes of a wet diaper will leak through. I tried to talk to customer service and they repeatedly made it clear that no matter what I said they don't take back "used diapers". So basically when their product fails, you just wasted $20 per diaper. The email exchange was painful, as from the get go they tried to imply/blame me for how I use them. I've been cloth diapering for ages, I'm not stupid and I know how to use them. I will absolutely never use them again and I do NOT recommend them.
