My 5 1/2 lb chihuahua had a stroke last year and is now nearly deaf and totally blind. It is very hard to find something to amuse her.Her nose still works and appetite too. She and I love this hiding place for treats. I break up BegginStrips into tiny piaces and place them in throughout the felt strips. It takes her 10 to 15 minutes to find them all. She needs to rely on her sense of smell so this plays to her strength and ability. She never liked toys, but this satisfies her as a playground with benefits. I am ordering a second one for the rv so I dont have to remember to pack it.

We generally love this snuffle mat. Setup is easy, the fabric feels durable, and the little flaps are tougher than I expected; my 3 month old hasn’t chewed any off yet. Foraging with kibble keeps her busy and gives her a “job.” The first several uses kept her occupied for a good 30+ minutes. Now, after about two weeks, it holds her attention for 10–15 minutes, which I’d say makes it a great “beginner” or “easy” snuffle mat. Regular kibble seems to be the perfect size for hiding in it. What I didn’t like: the string and plastic toggle closure. My pup went straight for the plastic toggle and cord, chewed on it, and I realized it could turn into a hazard. I removed the toggle within minutes, but then the string itself became the toy of the day. Honestly, I don’t think the closure is needed at all — something like velcro would be safer. Over all, it's in daily use, but I’d choose a future snuffle mat without a cord.

This sniff mat is a cute activity for dogs who enjoy sniffing or for dogs who are busy bodies. However, the mat itself is overpriced and low quality. The grass petals are not durable (they come out easily), the mat does not lay flat (even when I adjust the draw strings), and it’s pretty small in comparison to what I had hoped for. It is easy to use, easy to clean, and easy for dogs to figure out. However, it is generally low quality. I would not recommend for daily use, but it is good for occasional distractions.

I purchased the AWOOF Pet Snuffle Mat for my energetic 8-month-old puppy, and it’s been such a game changer! This is the second one I purchased and I dont plan on every feeding my dog out of a regular bowl again. This helps to engage them and make them work for their food. Also helps slow the eating down if you have a gobbler. Im 100% satisfied and will keep purchasing as they wear out

I bought 2 different brands/types and this one is much more sturdy overall. Not thrilled with the felt for small pockets because those are too flimsy to use but the rest holds up to my hound carrying/ moving it around

Dogs love hunting for kibble. Slows a fast eater. Been using "snuffles" for over 10yrs. One dog refuses to use certain colors, her fav is this one in light green. Can be washed in sink but easier to purchase new ones every 6mos. Makes great new puppy gift

When I have to leave my puppy I put her dry food in this to keep her occupied. Age enjoys the challenge and the item is well made and withstands puppy teeth and doesn’t move around at all. Highly recommend!!

Very simple easy to pack away toy I got for my 2 kittens. Hide some treats in the leaves and keeps them entertained for a good period of time and then once finished simply turn inside out and pull the toggle to pack away. Very good product.

Very pet friendly. Easy to use. With this, I can get my dog to eat her kibble, which is good for her but that she's not crazy about. My dog is 5 months old and had no difficulty figuring this out. I haven't washed it yet so I can't comment on that.

Our dog loved this... he is a big chewer with his toys... and the fact this lasted two weeks.. was amazing LOL. I do recommend this...

This is a great snuffle rug. My chihuahua loves it and it keeps her occupied for ages.
