Excellent Quality and will work in a Honda Odyssey Van
I have a 2021 Honda Odyssey, and the center console does not have a lid that lifts up; it has a sliding lid to get into the console. Most center console dog seats show to strap the front over the opened console lid and then strap the rear straps to areas behind the front seat. I have 13 inches between the front seats on my van.I bought from Amazon many years ago the Kurgo Dog Booster Seat, this is a raised bed that straps over the passenger headrest and hangs at a level that the dog can see out of the window and while I thought that my new Maltese would be comfortable using it, she did not like being that far away from me and always wanted to jump out, so I felt that it was not safe to use.I bought the PETSFIT Center Console Dog Car Seat for my 5-pound Maltese two weeks ago. When I received it and unfolded it out, it did not measure the full 10 inches wide. I found that when I placed her in the bed, she could not turn around or lie down comfortably, so I returned it.I decided to order the Snoozer Center Console Dog Car Seat. Since the small size is only 9 inches wide, I ordered the larger size that is 12 inches wide so that she would have more room to move around while still hooked to the safety strap. When I received it, I installed it between the front seats and was able to use the front strap under a lip at the front of the console. I then put the rear straps around each front seat as the instructions say to do, then I also tested and put the rear straps to the metal loop of the second-row seats. Both will work and so it will be what works best for each car and secure the car seat. I have armrests that fold down in the center console area, and while I can still fold down the armrest of the driver’s seat, I am finding that the console bed is at a good height, and I can use the padded edge if I want to rest my arm while driving.I took her for a ride, and she was so much happier being next to me as I was driving. She was able to turn around in the seat and look back and then around to look forward. She had enough room to lie down and rest her head on the padded surface and was much more relaxed. The quality of the bed is superior; I like that it is made in the USA with safe fabric, unlike some products that you don’t know where the fabric is coming from and if it is made of toxic materials.I like that you can remove the cover and wash it, and the thick foam of the bed is of high quality and has the firmness to stay in its original position. If you have the space, I would recommend getting the larger bed; it is well worth the cost, and it will give your pet more room.I have included photos showing the van's console and how the bed is hooked up.

My little girl loves her seat
I have waited to see how this worked for us. And I can say we all love it. My little passenger princess goes everywhere with me and this has resolved a few of our traveling issues. She is 6.5 lbs Yorkie and as you see she can snuggle down or stretch out.Pros:No weird smellShe jumped into it straight outta the boxMy little girl loves itPerfect size for herSoft and looks nice in the carDoesn't slide as much as other brands do on the arm rest so I do consider it a bit saferIt doesn't take up to much arm space.Cons:I wouldn't consider this as a safety feature and if going for accident safety then I would definitely suggest a real furbaby car seat because this is not it.While it doesn't take up a lot of space it is on the arm rest so my hubby didn't like that he could feel it on his arm and didn't have an arm rest anymore (luckily it is my car and I'm normally driving and since I do not mind sharing with my little girl then this is not a real issue for me personally)We are very rural in the south so my little girl is not a concrete princess leading to the "fluff" - it holds onto everything and I mean EVERYTHING! Have to pick it out which can be a pain in the butt. Washing is easy enough however it can be a job to get it into and it has to be unstrapped to take the cover off and wash it.It is HOT! Again we are in the South so the biggest part of our year is ridiculously hot.Now I worry about her being so little and over heating so the car is always cooled down before she gets into it...that being said the fabric used on the cover is still just hot! I have a cool sheet inside hers and have some other fabric on order to make seasonal fabric covers. The only big con I had was the ft of the seat was the same hight as the other sides. This was really noticably uncomfortable for my little girl but an easy fix. It is made of foam so I took the cover off and trimmed a soft "u" shape into the ft where she rest her head. Put the cover back on and she has loved it every since

Nice doggy car seat
I have a small ShiPoo that we take everywhere. We used to place her in the back seat in a doggy bed that attaches to the cars seat belt. But she likes being close to us and would constantly try and jump into the front seats. Having her ride on the front seat would be dangerous if the airbag deployed and we had no easy way to belt her in. Years ago I bought a similar product for her to use in another car. She loved it so when I bought a new truck (Tacoma) I started to look for another car seat for her. The previous seat was a Snoozer and I was really happy with it so I looked for the same brand. The large size wouldn't fit (too wide) so I had to go with the small size. The seat is well made (main structure is stiff foam) it has a removable cover and a soft pad inside (where the dog would sit). Overall I am pleased with the seat, but I wished it was a little bit longer (like 3 or 4 inches), my ShiPoo weights 14 lbs and she barely fits in the seat length wise. The width is fine. Maybe offer it in different lengths. I do like the way it attaches firmly to the truck with two straps and has a safety strap to attach to her harness.
