Initially was looking at the much more expensive mats that have an indent around and palet pots but at around £35 plus postage was really reluctant to fork out so much on a piece of silicone. Two things I needed it to do well was reverse stamping and being big enough for me to make a mess with paints, pens and sprays and I didn't really want to be constrained by the 'indented well' that most of the more expensive ones have as sometimes I want to create my own wrapping paper to match cards so being restricted would make it awkward to mess around with much larger pieces of paper or card. After finding this very large mat at just under £12 I am delighted with it. It is much wider than a roll of wallpaper, completely covers my xl glass Tonic craft mat and still leaves a overhang of approx six inches. The surface is ultra smooth so when I stamp an image onto it to do reverse stamping the transfer to paper or card is dark and clear and needs no improvement with a marker pen.Weirdly this arrives folded which I didn't expect and whilst the folds could be seen, as soon as I popped it over my glass mat the creases disappeared and left overnight they were practically unnoticable the next day. It sticks really well to my mat and needs peeling off when I've finished, is lightweight and rolls up easily. Couldn't be happier, and so far regardless of how much mess I've made there have been no overspills, no problems with using a heat gun or glue gun and it's a doddle to clean.

Fits well, and can be cut or otherwise adjusted to fit. Perfectly waterproof and, despite transported in a roll, does lie perfectly flat

These are great for protecting our white work tops in our new kitchen.They're easy wipe clean, roll up and go away in the drawer until next needed.Excellent value for money, in fact we have bout several of these now.Highly recommended.Excellent service from Amazon as always.

This is so big on my counter but it helps manage the mess made with crumbs or baking spillages/ flour stopping it sticking on the counter. So easy to clean as well

I bought this a while ago and it still looks and as good as new. It protects the table top and has proved to be a worth while purchase.

I had intended to use this to make better use of the hob area for food prep and I had imagined something a few mm thick and flexible, but checking it out when it arrived, realised it was far too thin and liable to stick to itself and everything else. Was more like a sheet of ready rolled pastry once it's rolled out and you're trying to control it.... Returned and given full refund.

Didn’t realise the size of this mat so when it arrived thought it wouldn’t suit what I would use it for but it is a good size after all, it’s just a bit longer than an A3 craft mat so will be alright for the crafts I want to do. The price is ok as well.
