If I fill it up to the neck (not the brim but the elbowed neck) it holds exactly 8 fluid oz (237 ml). Difficult to brew when it's that full however. And you have to make space allowance for coffee. After you factor in evaporation from cooking and depending on the strength of your brew I’d say it makes 2 nice Demi cups. I’ve been very pleased with my Demmes. Do use a wooden spoon (I use a chopstick) for stirring so as to not scratch off the tin lining.

Is this pot dishwasher safe? Or should I wash it manually? Thanks.

This is a traditional briki, made of tinned copper with a wooden handle. Putting it in a dishwasher will eventually ruin it. If you want one to put in the dishwasher, get a stainless one.
