Very nice. Happy with Swanson products.

I got the 2 foot with the light and it works great and still does but the four footer doesn't . so cheaply made switch you might luck out other wise nice level.

Works great for setting steel door jambs. Magnets hold the level in place to allow hands free installation of jamb. Bubble vials are easy to read. Rubber end caps work well to cushion any drops. Would be nice if the vials could light up when working in low light areas.

Excellent for the price

I bought this to put in my home inspection bag for professional inspections. I've done a good bit of home improvement, construction, framing and even roofing in my time. My favorite level is my 36 inch Johnson wooden box level. What I don't like about it is it's size and lack of durability. That's why I ordered this one. It's more compact so I can fit it in my inspection bag. But, and there's the best part, it's durable. It's aluminum, notched on one side, flat on the other and there's a window on the flat side to allow you to see the horizontal bubble from the top. But, the thing that even allowed me to pay $30 for a level this size is the shock absorbing end caps. I don't try to drop my level but it's well protected if (or when...I'm clumsy at times) I do. And, on top of everything else, it looks good. Sounds petty but looks combined with quality and functionality make for a great combination.

Great quality reasonable price

This is a well built and very accurate level. The lighted vials really help accurate leveling. The only downside is the batteries will leak and make a mess in the battery holder. I use energizer ultimate lithium batteries for tools like this. They are guaranteed leakproof plus they will last a long time in this application.

I use this level almost every day as I work in construction and I am finding that there is less possibility of lights on my job site and this makes it way easier to accomplish my job

The media could not be loaded.  I am an elevator mechanic and need a good sturdy level for my work. Package showed up today and just at first glance there are a number of issues, First and most disappointing, some of the magnets on the milled surface are standing proud and some are inset witch is self defeating for obvious reasons. Second there is some loose pieces rattling free inside the level (see video). Last there are a number of scuffs and scratches already on this brand new level and one of them someone tried to cover up with an orange marker on the orange paint. Very disappointing quality will be returning.

Level arrived covered In what appears to be glue as well as tons of scratches and cracked magnets and a torn package, as well as poor construction some magnets are flush and some are inset 1/8 , be weary as numbers in stock went from 7 to 8 after I requested a refund. You may receive the garbage I just did

1st impressions so far the level very good quality and sturdy and accurate! Going to be used for deck build and to level the 6in pillar footings level them to eachother 80 apart ,I will update soon!
