Mattel Ever After High Ashlynn Ella and Hunter Huntsman Fashion Doll, 2-Pack

This is the first Ever After High 2-pack, and it is amazing!! Ashlynn Ella and Hunter Huntsman are secretly dating as one is a royal and the other is a rebel. They each come with bookmarks that tell a story, a stand, and there is one brush included. Here's the look at the individual dolls.Hunter:Hunter has felt flocking all around his head and heavily gelled hair draped to the right framing his face. He has a great face mold as well as a nice body mold. Hunter wears a forest-printed tank top under a faux leather vest with green at the bottom and forming 3/4 sleeves with cuffs. The vest has a two-toned design with a different pattern on the back, has cords hanging from the hood, and the hood fits very well over his head but could mess up his hair. Hunter's pants resemble worn khaki pants after a day in the woods and a silver charm is attached to one of his belt loops. Also, Hunter has worn "leather" hiking boots with black shading. He wears a "leather" cuff bracelet and has a stitched-together bag with a silver cross design in the bottom right corner. Overall, Hunter is very detailed and a great first boy doll for Ever After High!Ashlynn:Ashlynn is another amazing doll and has long, wavy light brown hair with a bump at the top and a braid circling across the top of her head. She wears a pink headband with birds and a feather design all around it. I am not sure if her face is a different mold than the other original dolls since I just started collecting EAH and have not compared the dolls in-depth. Ashlynn's dress is really cute; it has a pink, white, and turquoise floral print on the bodice and skirt. Over the top is a sparkly turquoise fabric with gold trim and the skirt features a turquoise fish-net overlay with gold vine and flower designs on it. the sleeves are pink at the top and turquoise fish-net is added to them. The real eye-catcher is Ashlynn's shoes; clear turquoise "glass slippers" with floral detailing and vines trailing up her legs. Ashlynn's jewelry is all gold; she has a bird ring, shoe earrings, a necklace with birds flying around a clock, and a charm bracelet with different shoes on it. Her purse is a gold clock with a sticker face on the front; it does not open.So there you have it-the Ashlynn and Hunter 2-pack. It retails for around $35 but is usually less expensive online. The only issue is that Hunter has some white gel that dried on his felt hair and tiny white flecks of it in his real hair. Overall, I definitely recommend this set for Ever After High fans but you should look it over if you can before buying in store!

Ashlynn Ella probably has my favorite color scheme. Secretly, I am very into that uber-feminine, pastel-palette look. She also has the prettiest shade of auburn hair that is, of course, perfectly coiffed. Her shoes are, even among all of the EAH dolls, really unique since most of the other shoes tend to be of the chunky platform heel variety. I LOVE the cute little two-finger rings that all of the basic EAH (female) dolls have, and hers is an adorable golden bird. I also like that she doesn't have tights since you run the risk of ripping the delicate material when removing the shoes on the other dolls, though ironically her shoes are the only ones that probably wouldn't tear a pair of tights.Her boyfriend, Hunter, makes the first male doll of the EAH line. He has a cool hairstyle that is pretty representative of the current popular European men's 'do. I also like his vest hoodie and messenger bag, which has a bit of room to store stuff. It would have been cool if he could also have something to go inside, like a hunter's knife or whatever?All in all, a cool duo!

Very similar to Mattel's Monster High line, with a few variations, but overall the same quality. Most notable differences are the rounder heads, plus that fact they are fairy tale based characters and not monsters. The outfits, accessories, and dolls themselves are very well detailed, right down to their adorable shoes. These are great doll for both playing and collecting.The details on this couple are just amazing. Ashlyn’s shoes, purse, and other accessories really tie in to Cinderella perfectly as well as her shoe OCD personality. With those crystalline kicks she’s sporting I can relate to her shoe obsession >_< Hunter is very detailed, lots of textures on his outfit, messenger bag and his shoes. Once again, there are amazing details on the clothes and accessories.I can’t wait for my daughter to play with her Ever-After High power couple on Christmas morning.

I ordered these dolls on October 29th, and they arrived November 1st, which was just awesome! Let me start by saying that the details on these dolls are just amazing. Hunter's boots are spectacular, and his hoodie even feels like it could be real leather. His bag even opens! I have no complaints at all about him, because he's just overall a lovely doll. I do also indeed love Ashlyn, however I do have some suggestions. First off the pros. Her hair is so beautiful, and silky. It truly looks like the same strawberry blonde hair Cinderella has in the original movie. Her earrings are shaped like shoes, her purse is super cute in the shape of a midnight struck clock, and her shoe's are see-through like glass! My only complaint about Ashlyn is her dress. It's beautifully patterned, and great quality, however my complaint is the length. It's so short! Her dress is only a little bit longer than where both of her legs meet, which I really don't think is a good message to send to the kids playing with these dolls. I understand that Mattel has to make the dolls clothing a modern-like style, but they have to keep in mind that these dolls are going children, and I don't like how they seemed to sexualize her outfit. Other than this unfortunate con, I have absolutely no other complaints, and I totally recommend getting these dolls, do to their beautiful details.
