Quality sturdy glass.

The glass is great quality and thickness. Can be heated, cleaned, and used extensively. I use it for my home chemistry lab but it’s the same quality as the ones at University.

After a lot of struggles trying to find heavy duty Pyrex beakers in the sizes I needed, I finally succeeded. This one was listed as a 250 ml, however the measurement markings only go up to 200 ml. So be aware of ordering a slightly larger size if the full 250 ml measurement markings are important to you. I was happy to find that these beakers were made in Germany, which another reviewer had stated makes the very best quality Pyrex beakers. Not sure if this is true, but if it is, "Made in Germany" is printed right under the word Pyrex on the side of the beaker. It is a thrill to use this beaker and not need to worry about it breaking easily like some inexpensive, paper-thin types.

Heavy duty as advertised. Just wish the heavy duty was available in the tall forms. I use beakers daily...and Pyrex is hands down the best.

Recommended. Heavy duty beaker as described. I use it daily, and it takes boiling temps as it should. The glass is thick, and appears uniform on the sides and bottom. Screen printed text is durable. No issues. I would buy this brand again.

Unlike a lot of lab glass sold on Amazon this has a really nice thick rolled rim. I don’t know if it’s genuine Pyrex (one never knows on Amazon) but it took heating to 200C with no problems. I had other beakers I’m less certain of that I’ll stick with using for low or room temp experiments and use this one for things requiring a flame as it is definitely thicker glass than the rest. I wish it were easier to find the other sizes of this though, there’s so much thin, cheap glass on Amazon that clutters up results. I hope the seller will list other sizes on one page in the future.

I read Question/Answers and found an excellent tip indicating that "If the product is labeled in upper case letters (PYREX), it is heavy duty geuine, made in Germany borosilicate glass. I like it but It's a bit smaller than expected-- 200 mL + 5%.

I bought this little beaker for my bar cart. 250ml= 8.45 oz. I use it to hold spring water to add to my Bourbon or Scotch. It works perfect.

Ive used it once to heat cocoa butter and other oils for a skincare cream. It maintains the heat well and cleans up easily.

Heavy duty & absolutely awesome!! I wanted it to make homemade lip balm & I can even hold the top area to pour the balm because it isn't even hot!! I ordered cheaper ones from another company & they arrived broken & the company wants me to mail them back to China & then they will refund my $!!! The postage would be MORE than what I paid for them!! Best to offer better quality to begin with!

This is the best quality beaker I've come across in a long time. The measurements are accurate as confirmed by weight of water, and the glass is very thick. The pour spout seems to get a nice fine stream and easy to pour, too.

Exactly what I needed! I have been searching far and wide for glass that isn’t too thin and won’t explode on me. I use it for pouring my hot coffee or espresso into for mixing. Love it.
