Pretty Good products
So I ordered these hand exercisers bc I had hurt my hands a while back and physical therapy advised that I continued to workout my hand, but the tennis ball and grip exercises wasn’t cutting it that much. So I decided to get these to see if it would be any better, they come in 4 levels which I thought was pretty good( so I could steadily build up strength)...I have been using them for a week and a half, and I could already see a difference!, Great strength building to get me back to were I was...So on to the company itself..I’ve purchased many things from Amazon and some products just don’t cut the mustard and you have to contact the vendors to let them know hey I’m having some issues with your product, and we all know some companies aren’t worth crap!. However; I had one minor issue I was sent two of the same levels on accident. I contacted the email on the back and informed them of the discrepancy and within hours I was emailed back,(mind you it was late in the evening) Connie from customer services was great and very helpful! , they mailed out the correct product and I received it within two days. I was quite happy bc I’m big on customer service and this company was all on top of it from start to finish!!! So not only a good product but great customer service experience. So thank y’all!

Pretty good for climber antagonistic training, but you need to use them right.
I am a climber, and I bought these bands to accompany my antagonistic training, to workout my finger extensor muscles which are typically neglected in normal climbing. These bands are pretty good if you use them right. I have definitely seen a reduction in minor injuries (nagging pulleys) since I started using them about 6 months ago.A personal tip on correct usage: don't use the Level 1 band if you can put it at the end of your fingertips and open your hand fully. If you consistently overstretch these bands, they will tear and break. The correct way to use these, in my opinion, is to place the bands about mid-way down your fingers, slightly above the middle/second knuckles. If you do this, the band will not be stretching too much, and you will probably be able to at least start at Level 2.[Edit] I had accidentally torn the Level 1 band because of consistently overstretching it. The manufacturer/seller offered to either give me a full refund, or send me a replacement set of these bands. I chose the replacement set.

Good workout, but they can rip after regular use.
I like these a lot more than the ones with the wrist strap. They work differently and to me more effectively. The different levels are very challenging.Unfortunately, they are tough, but they can break with regular use.

Rips quickly
Rip too easily. Resistance is good. Price is right. Longevity however….not so much

NICE! using for Trigger Finger
I started with a similar product --the finger extension band that runs through the interior of a ball--for trigger finger (middle on both hands). Kicked out the ball and was just using the band but it was wearing out. Bought this style and find it actually works a bit better since it is engaging the thumb more effectively. I bought these and another that has a 6lb set in it also ---and will have to start with those first.. This set is super nice but will take time to work into because they are hard. For Trigger Finger though...these type extensions added with forearm massage and stretches for tennis elbow/carpal tunnel have really made a difference. If I am careful about forearm overuse (picking up heavy items repetitively or lots of typing for hours) I will begin to see improvement of the trigger finger(s). Sucks ....your hands do a lot of your daily life..especially if you like to garden or woodwork etc.....could be worse though.

Great product that will break and no one will be there to help :-p
Product works great, but each band broke after 50 uses. I accepted this as just part of the deal, but then when I ordered a replacement set it came with a "lifetime warranty" sticker, a thank you card, and two separate support emails to contact.I contacted both emails several times and never heard back from them. This allowed the return window to lapse :-(.SooooGood product, but you'll have to buy 4 sets a year and their customer support either doesn't exist or this is an intentional scam to clock out the return window.

Resistance lvl, customer support, hole size
Purchased on 4/29/20.I'm a rock climber so was looking to find something to really train the opposite of my grip muscle which are overused in my sport. Here are my thoughts.I have used two other products in the past 5 Billion and Airisland.Pros1. labels the amount of force each resistance band has. I haven't seen this on other brands and while the resistance will change with time it is nice to have as a reference.2. I think this has the highest resistance out of all the brands. Hard to tell since no one else list the resistance just label typically lvl 1-3. Of the other two types I purchased and tried this has the greatest resistance. Lvl 1 was harder than Lvl 3 of the others. Might be good to buy one of the others to initially train. Someone in another post was training with them at the base of the fingers might also be helpful when initially training, the further towards the tips of the fingers the harder it gets(in*lb).3. Customer Support; Lifetime warranty is excellent everything falls apart with age. A hole developed in lvl 1 band a couple weeks ago contacted support showed them the picture they responded with in a day and sent a new or at least I thought. Actually they sent me a new pack of 4! Guess they did that in case it was a defective batch. 5 out of 5 for customer support and engagement.Negatives1. I don't like the large fingers holes. I prefer to uses them on the tips of my fingers really get the most out of them but they easily slip with the larger holes. If Portholic could make them in multiple sizes I think that would be great then the consumer could select on their specific needs/preferences.All in all I found this to be a solid product with good customer support. From reading other comments looks as though it use to come in smaller holes for the fingers but people desired larger holes and they accommodated them. So also looks like good community engagement from the company.
