These are really strong clips - so strong that they take some effort to get out of your hair because they snap on really strong. They feel heavy duty and work really well - and look great!

I only now discovered these but what a great solution for thicker longer hair. Stays in place, does not hurt from long wear. Good price and value for money.

These definitely hold, in fact they are so strong that it's difficult to get them to open without it digging into your scalp. If you have thick hair but a tender scalp, I would not recommend. They are very rigid in design causing a noticeable increase in effort to open and close them than from other brands or store bought clips. And just to note; I don't feel like they hold any more hair than store-bought, they are tighter.

I’m so mad at myself for buying these! All to save literally a few dollars. I’ve lost so much hair!!! It gets stuck in the little flap at the end where the rivet is, and the only way to get the clip out of my hair is to sacrifice the hairs and pull the clip out. It’s impossible to slowly get them out, no matter how much effort I put in. I thought maybe I got a couple bad ones in my batch, but it’s all of them. They’re all equally effective at ripping my hair out.When I think of all the money I spend to keep my hair happy and healthy- my hair girl that cuts and colors it, shampoo, conditioner, masks, styling products…AND the tools I use to minimize damage- an expensive hair dryer, curling and straightening tools, snag free hair ties, TIME…only to sacrifice my precious hair to these AWFUL CLIPS, I kick myself!If you love your hair, pass on these clips. It’s not with the couple of saved dollars. The Revlon ones are the best and as Amazon reminded me, this will now be the 5th time I’ve repurchased them. The Revlon snap clips ARE the gold standard and these are in my TRASH.
