Great stick, great design
Brilliant!!!!! After 1 day of use for hikes I’ve ordered another one. Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant! Sturdy, portable as it can be taken apart and packed and full of character. I live in UK and sadly I couldn’t buy it in UK luckily I found it through Amazon USA which was delivered quickly considering the distance . Thank you for making such great stick at affordable prices 😁👍🏻

HIGHLY and TOTALLY Recommend = now the owner of 3 and these are GREAT.
I just bought my 6th Walking Stick from this company. OMG I have one now in every vehicle, just so I don't end up somewhere without one.Everywhere I go people ask me about my walking sticks, they are so pretty, unique, and people are awed when I take off the bottom rubber cap and show its truly a 'walking stick' for any terrain. Then when i show them it comes apart into 3 pieces and stores in a sheath for each carrying anywhere, they are beyond amazed. Finally when they heard the price they are 'how' and I have to agree, HOW the company sells these SO REASONABLY PRICED is beyond me, but they do. Out of the 6 I have ordered, I've only had 2 issues, one was the alignment of the wood design wasn't exact, and they replaced it with one PERFECTLY matching (yes very OCD). These make the best gifts.Lastly, these are BETTER than CANES.... With a cane you are nearly forced to hunch over, it just adds to the risk of falling (I know, trust me). Plus some canes, like the 4 footed cane, are literally tripping devices if you don't walk a perfect straight line (and who does who uses a cane?). These allow you to be totally upright, no hunching, no leaning, just assisting you walking. And unlike a cane or other walking sticks, you can disassemble it and carry it easily anywhere. There is nothing not perfect about this walking stick.I would recommend this TOTALLY to ANYONE who wants to graduate from a cane to a staff, or anyone who wants to have a convenient to carry, strong and dependable walking staff for hiking or whatever.

Product not as described, but...
The product description says the stick is made of Asian bianbai wood, similar to bamboo, one reason I bought it. The one I received was in a sealed bag labeled hard pine. However, hard pine is an acceptable wood for hiking staffs, just not what I thought I was getting. I am a 70 year old man who likes to visit a local park and sit by the stream for some serious reading whenever I can. However the downhill route to the stream is steep and uneven requiring navigation over leaves, fallen branches, roots and rocks. I had been using a regular cane for extra stability when going up and down but on a whim decided to buy this 3 piece hiking staff after reading virtually all the reviews on Amazon. Maybe this company has some quality control issues which would explain some of the negative comments, but here is my take on the stick I received. While the 3 sections are not made from the same continuous piece of wood, there is a simple explanation for that. In any five foot branch there are bound to be imperfections somewhere along the line--knotholes, curves, cracks and so forth. Rather than discard the whole piece, a suitable piece is taken from another stick to replace the defective part. The diameter of the pieces in my stick matched perfectly where they joined and the coloration of the wood was consistent down the line. The pieces screw together tightly with no gaps or misalignment and do not loosen with use. The glossy finish is attractive but can be slippery in a sweaty hand so I picked up some paracord from my local hardware store and wrapped the top with it for a more secure grip. There is a washer in the rubber tip which fell out and got lost after a few uses but I just popped another one in and secured it with a dab of glue to hold it in place. Two things I like about using this stick: the spike really helps secure it in position when leaning on it in rough terrain and whereas I was always walking a bit stooped or pitched forward with the cane, the tall stick (I prefer the word staff) allows me to walk fully upright, shoulders back and head up, lessening back strain. Its very light and easy to carry but would probably break if you whacked it against a tree (but why would you do that?) and fits nicely in my trunk with my folding camp chair. It will only ever get light duty usage from me but I'm very happy with it so far and look forward to years of use. It would have been cool to have a stick made of exotic Asian bianbai wood but, really, I guess pine is fine.

Great stick!
I love it when a review is really helpful to a purchasing decision, so I'll try to do my best for you: this stick is compact and lightweight. But its sturdy enough for a 200 lb person to use and even lean on. I was really happy with this walking stick and have used it several times already (even bought a second one for 'guest hikers'). Can't really think of a 'con' except this: once during a hike I had to tighten a joint that came a little loose...but not a big deal, or a real problem. I saw some other reviewers mention that this stick bends, and a review that said its a little crooked so here's my take on that: it IS slightly (but only VERY slightly) crooked because its cut from real bamboo, not carved from wood...so for me, I saw this as likeable & unique character. As for bending, I would say that its a little pliable, and again- I thought that was a plus, not a negative. Finally, although its strong, its lightweight- so great for transporting/traveling! in summary: I can recommend without reservation!1/5/16 update: I am still using my sticks with only the slightest of problems- no joint has ever broken! One problem is that one joint consistently started to loosen in use. Here's how I resolved it: I dabbed in a little bit of earthquake gel, just enough to grab but not enough to gluefast (the kind that acts like permanently soft bubblegum). I also wanted to recommend that you look at the picture the seller shows- trust me, your stick will look EXACTLY like the picture (some irregularities, curvature, etc because its natural wood and not synthetic!). I still believe that you get every penny's worth at this price point and I'd still recommend it without hesitation (only I'd add that it might be best for light to medium hiking and for someone who doesn't weigh more than 200 lbs).
