Great flashlight! Super bright!!!
Not sure what was wrong at first. For awhile the battery didn't want to connect properly and it kept going off randomly. I would have to shake it or tap it to get it to come back on. I was almost ready to give up and send it back. After putting new batteries in, the connection must have aligned properly, because now it works perfectly! And it's SUPER bright!!! I use it to inspect busses at night. This little light does the job very well! And it's not too heavy to carry around in my backpack all day. I've always loved Maglite products! And this one is living up to the reputation!

Very Bright and not large and Bulky
Great really bright flashlight. Highly Recommended to replace larger bulky flashlights. Extremely bright and recommended. Very easy to use, just insert known AA batteries that have a charge, if disposable, or are charged up, if rechargeable. Then twist the end to turn it on. Please follow the instructions on the package of your flashlight.

LOVE THIS LIGHT!
I've owned several of these and wouldn't be without one! Only problem is I keep losing them, either to carelessness or thieves, I don't really don't know which. This little "torch" (if you're British) is incredibly bright, because it has a focused beam off a parabolic reflector. Also, a set of alkaline batteries will last about 1/2 of forever because the bulb is L.E.D. In addition, construction is of very attractive anodized aluminum. On-Off is by twisting the head. I would prefer a push-button toggle switch, but that's a minor drawback. The holster provided is nice nylon webbing material, but not very secure if you are wearing it on belt. Harbor Freight Tools has a much more secure clasping holster that fits this light perfectly and securely.

Don't be without a Maglite!
I have always been a fan of Maglite and these little flashlights are no exception! They are perfect for bedside, travel kits, glove compartments and anywhere an emergency light might be needed. They are strong and durable. The stream is bright and adjustable from room light to straight stream. Many don't realize that one of the functions is as a candle during a power outage. Unscrew the head, turn it upside down and set your Maglite into the head using it for a stand. Instant candle! I always keep several!

Can a flashlight be too bright? Yes it can
Same high quality durable light I’ve used for decades. I’d upgraded all my old lights to LED kits from Nite Eyes, they have fragile switches and gone after using a new generation LED light. It’s a bit longer on the head than the original 2 AA design, some of mine are around 30 yr old so consider that. Flashlight suppliers seem to be an LED lumen battle. You have to light up a football field to be “capable”. Lots of reviews criticize the twist Maglite as out date and not tactical enough. I own 2 such Maglite flashlights with the cap switch. They are small and bright. I like them. Can a flashlight be too bright? Yes, when it blinds you and everyone around you. All the tactical heads out there ignore this and think you have to carry the sun around in your pocket. This makes for really bright lights with short battery lives. Sometimes you just need to look in the basement at some plumbing or wiring. Maybe a faucet needs a cover on a cold night. Most every night I’m walking the dogs and want something better than my phone of needed. These tactical lights are blinding for this purpose. So is the 320 Lumen 2AA Maglite. It’s crazy, impressively bright and a bit of a battery hog. The LED gets hot too. So I ordered the Mag kit with the rubber lens holder with Green / Blue / Red lenses and and a lanyard. Go ahead and get it. The blue and green lenses are perfect for low light and not blinding yourself and your dogs (or passing aircraft). It greatly reduces output which is good. With the blinding output the colored lenses make a perfect option for normal people doing normal things. Pop the rubber lens cover off and it’s plenty painful to look at if that’s what you need. It's a cheap option and improves functionality and keeps the light from rolling. My next one will be tbt less powerful unit that has the low power option. Battery live goes up 10x which is what you want if you really need it. I’ll take battery life and 100 lumens if I’m a long way form somewhere Great light. Simple, rugged, and incredibly capable. Still the 2AA light others are judged by.

What I've needed for 30 Years
For probably 20 years, I used the incandescent version of the MagLite, the so-called "classic" version. It worked fine, though battery life, bulb life, and brightness were so-so, vis-a-vis a standard flashlight. The LED version's improvement is an order of magnitude higher. While the LED version is about an inch longer and a half-ounce heavier, it feels about the same on my belt. Admittedly, it's early days, so I cannot comment on the long-term serviceability. However, I'm sure it will be fine. My wife had on continually for about a half-hour with no discernable derogation in brightness. The classic version would be showing some battery loss. This is a follow-up to the original review above. I'm an 81-year-old real estate appraiser/retired pilot. I had to retire because of night vision loss. So, it is an important tool in my real estate practice and seeing when I take nighttime walks. I have a small belt holster and it is with me 24/7. Last year while I was on the Band of Brothers tour, I managed to lose it, and felt handicapped for about ten days. Upon my retuned, the first thing I did was order a new one. Since I no longer buy green bananas, I refrained from ordering a backup.

Great product, having had numerous Maglites over the years this is one is living up to its expectations and reputation. My first LED replacement in my collection producing a significant increase in lighting for its size. Look forward to getting others in the Maglite LED product line. Holster is nice but very basic, would like to have had a cover over to secure the flashlight better which is offered as an accessory order.

Very expensive but worth every penny. My old one went missing and i used to use it so much i had to replace it after a few weeks of desperate searching! Its brightness carries a warning not to look into the beam/point at the eyes, and they are right. Tiny torch, big atitude

Muy buena solo que el color de la luz es un poco azul, me hubiera gustado que fuera blanca, de ahí en más todo perfecto.
