The model is very detailed and very realistic in that it has many more parts and requires much more assembly than model cars of the past! This model is definitely not for a "beginner," rather the skill-level is "very experienced." Every part is numbered and indexed on the 5 page instruction flier. The parts fit very well. Some parts are very small and require tweezers to place. This is not a one-day model, this is an "put together-and-glue" an assembly, set aside to dry, "glue" another assembly tomorrow. One thing that surprised me was the "blank" instrument panel! Model cars of the past actually had "readable" numbers on the speedometer!
