The product works as mentioned in the vendor's write-up; the features it mentioned are really there. Setting it up with my laptop is also smooth. But i have some difficulty in figuring out how to get the software to output the PDF the way i would like it to be, as there are a few options under 'Image Settings', and i spent some time here to try out the differences under each option before hitting the right one. Suggest for vendor to improve the manual as it leaves many things unsaid, so it is up to the user to figure it out in the tinkering process. Took me 2-3 hours to get it right. But after that, it is as good as gold. Because i am making an eBook, after the pdf files are created, i need to use another software to compile the PDFs together. It will be marvellous, if the software from CamShop can manage that part too. Thank you!

set up instructions said to install software with CD - item came with a USB drive on which the manual and installation software was found. Improved medium for this, but documentation needs to be brought up to date. (Many/most modern PCs do not have CD drives, but all have USB, so a good thing.) First attempt - display interface could not find the device. Uninstall, then install again solved the issue. I found it better to copy the contents of the USB to my PC hard drive and install from there. Such behavior is somewhat expected in this world, but required me to be experienced in such matters. A naïve user might be frustrated. Am still learning the settings and capabilities. However I have not yet gotten the LEDs to light up, so have had to use ambient room light to snap a still image. Which is not ideal. Perhaps the switch for using them is somewhere in the how-to use manual or settings buttons. Otherwise the rapid acquisition of images are a welcome improvement over a standard flat-bed scanner. And allows scanning pages of a bound book without breaking the binding. High-throughput and capability to scan fragile items are the reasons I bought this device. So far it functions. I also chose the 10 MB imager for resolution quality. I do not have time to scan hundreds or thousands of pages at anything but the highest resolution I can find (at this price.)

This worked great for the first 3 months but then just stopped. As a teacher during this time of Covid I used this everyday. Maybe it isn't meant to be used as much but for remote learning a doc camera is imperative and it was just so disappointing to have it break down so quickly.

This document camera scanner do an excellent job! It was very easy to install the software on my laptop. Instructions are very easy to understand, the software came in a USB drive instead a DVD that is great because I use the same USB drive to save my documents pictures. It have a high quality picture image. Its adjustable and sturdy. The auto focus it's a great feature. Is very easy to use. Its a high quality product. I'm highly recommend this!

I really enjoyed it but unfortunately, I have a mac and I have to switch it because this one is for Windows operating computer. However, it looks marvelous and very helpful - I will commend it for Windows operating computer users.
