Amazing book.
I enjoyed reading this book. Good translation. Very good messages are given to everyone in the world who believes in any religion or spiritual.

My favorite translation
I'm very glad they published this translation that was previously only available online. It is the best one I've seen. The Stephen Mitchell version is good, but it's not particularly musical, and sometimes I feel he takes too many liberties. The Dan Heitkamp version seems to stick close to the original meaning, but it's sort of plain. Although I've never read the original text, it seems that this translation by Kline takes just the right amount of liberty in order to preserve the poetry, but not disrupt the poetic meaning. The book is lovely and well bound. Five stars!

Very interesting read.
I recently started looking up Taoism and found it very interesting and I suppose in line with how I look at things. So I bought this book. Thoroughly enjoyable and enlightening.

a lot like an Asian version of Proverbs from the Bible
Book of poetic truths valid for hundreds of years, a lot like an Asian version of Proverbs from the Bible.

I don’t think the translation is 100% correct
The book itself doesn’t seem like great quality. I don’t think the translation is quite correct. At times it just sounds like gibberish.

readable translation, pleasant pictures
This is the first time I've read the Tao Te Ching, so I'm no expert on the 81 verses. The translation is accessible to the novice. The pictures accented the content nicely. Well worth $0.99.
