Review: my kids say the ending is worth it - My twin daughters started this series in the 2nd grade. One of them was comfortable right away and really enjoyed the books from the jump. My other daughter struggled in the beginning of the series but midway through the first book she really found her groove, As her reading skills got better the more she enjoyed the books. Both girls said this particular book starts slow but is really good toward the end.

A really good book

Great Book
OK I love this series of book. Way to Go Whoopi!!!! I got this to add to my six year old library within the next two years. But once I read the first book, I could not wait to read the second. Its funny but it also teaches a lesson. Love these books, can't wait to share with my daughter. My 22 year old daughter is reading them now....

Great book for young girls
I have bought this whole series for my first granddaughter and she couldn't wait for each one to come out. Have now started my 2nd granddaughter on her own copies as well. The stories are interesting and easy for even beginning readers to understand as well as keeping the teen one wanting more. Thank you, Ms. Whoopie !!!!
