The BEST brush, look no further
I love this brush. I have thin, fine, shoulder length hair but this brush works on any hair no matter the length, thickness etc. It is very well made with a heavy and sturdy handle/base and stiff but gentle bristles. The bristles are very long and reach right down to your scalp and massage it. It distributes oils throughout your hair to keep them from accumulating at your scalp and prevents frizz. It gets through tangles effortlessly and gets rid of bed head. It feels AMAZING to just brush your hair and it goes through my hair so smoothly, even when it is so messy. There is no pulling or tugging. This is the only brush I now use and like I said it works on all hair, it is the brush to have. This brush works with any hair, curly, thick, long, short doesn't matter. The bristle spikes are long and get right down to your scalp effectively brushing the hair instead of just going over the top of it. This brush can put up with heat so it can be used when you are blow drying, curling or straightening your hair and is unaffected by any chemicals you put in your hair. I travel with this brush and it still holds up great. This brush does not need to be babied or treated gently. It is a great, universal brush. I have used SO MANY brushes in my life time and I can rightfully say this is the best. I even prefer this to my Mason Pearson. The way I clean it is remove ALL the hair first and mix liquid antibacterial soap, baking soda, and vinegar in a bowl of hot water (about 1 to 1.5" of water) and let the brush soak bristles down for about 20-30 minutes. Remove and rinse thoroughly and I scrub mine with the "Denman Hair Brush Cleaner" (available cheaply here on amazon) to get all the gunk off the base. Then when it is all rinsed off I squeeze the water out and let it dry upside down on a towel overnight and clean off the cleaning tool. You can purchase this brush off Aveda's website for $20 + about $5 for shipping unless you spend over a certain amount and get free shipping. Buy it there. Get it as gifts. People will love it.

Best brush you can buy
This is my 2nd brush. The last time I bought one was 20 years ago and I felt I needed a new one. Absolutely LOVE this brush

Solid Brush
Had this brush over a year & my guy said it his favourite brush. Worthwhile purchase since it got an off-handed praise from a man than never thinks about critiquing something as trivial as a brush. 🤷♀️ We also drilled a hole in the handle as soon as we got it in order to hang on a hook; no issues with that at all, no splintering.

No need for flat iron smoothing
I discovered this brush at my hair salon where my stylist started using it instead of flat ironing my hair for my style. It does an amazing job at smoothing as I blow dry my hair. I followed the technique of my hair dresser, brushing over the round of my head with the smoothing attachment on my hairdryer, and it works beautifully

Wooden Brush
Bought for my daughter who has very thick long hair. So far it is holding up well. Detangles nicely and is gentler than the other brushes she used. The handle is wood but I don't think the bristles are.

BEST BRUSH EVER MADE
This is the only brush i've used in years. Perfect in every respect. Care is needed when washing it. I gave my daughtrer one about 15 years ago and she informed me that hers was on its last legs, ergo the purchase.
