Plug and Play!
I recently purchased a XBOX One controller, one of those ones that needed bluetooth support to be used on PCs. To use it, I bought this little gadget, the ZEXMTE Bluetooth Dongle. For the sake of a fiver, the thing does its job nicely. The ZEXMTE Bluetooth Dongle comes in a small blue package that is fairly easy to open. It doesn't have any instructions but does come with what I think is a mini CD featuring drivers. I haven't put it in to try it. When I plugged the device into my PC, the thing installed whatever it needed and worked within seconds. Nice and simple. My new XBOX One controller works perfectly fine with the ZEXMTE Bluetooth Dongle. There's no delay, no issues getting it recognised or connected. It was literally a case of plug and play. If you're looking for an easy cheap option for a bluetooth device, you can't go wrong. Not for the sake of a fiver.

Worked straight away, its a charm!
At first I wanted to get an internal bluetooth connection module but once I seen that these work just the same I knew it was a must! Before I bought this product, I looked at all the other companies' options and I chose this because of the cheaper price and great reviews... And it didnt fail me.As soon as I plugged it into the usb of the PC, bluetooth automatically started working without any extra steps, so its easy for people who dont have much technological expertise. The only thing I would mention is I have had some connection hiccups when playing movies however I am almost sure this isnt the connectors fault but the actual headphones' fault as they cause issues on my phone and paptop too.Summary: VERY easy to install, works great and way cheaper than an internal modules with no drawbacks for me.

Good but not full range
Really easy to install, picks up available Bluetooth devices easily, but range is not great, I use it for audio and the sound breaks up when you go beyond 5m from the receiver. But does the job for me.

Fake Bluetooth 5.1 its range does not meet specs for 5.1
suffice to say Bluetooth 5.1 range is 250 m (and I have legit devices from high street stores or trusted brands like that). this device If I leave my room and go to the bathroom (6 - 8 m) it starts loosing connection

Easy set up. Xbox and PS4 controller support.
I use the adapter with a Xbox Series X controller. The initial set up was easy, plug it in and windows detected it instantly and was ready to use. I paired the xbox controller very easily and it worked with all games tested. I have also set up a ps4 dualshock controller, bluetooth pairing was simple and quick with the adapter working perfectly. Please note that you need to use a piece of software called DS4windows in order to use playstation controllers on pc, once the software was installed the controller worked perfectly, this is not a limitation of the adapter but a windows issue.

5.1 hardware but no 5.1 support yet, and not CSR as advertised but Realtek.
This was bought to upgrade from BT 5.0 to 5.1, and also specifically to try a CSR (Cambridge Silicon Radio, now owned by Qualcomm) chip instead of RealTek.As you can see it does not use a CSR chip as claimed in the listings title, the packaging states Realtek and you will find the Realtek driver installs when plugged into windows.Secondly this is not _currently_ a functional bluetooth 5.1 device, though both the packaging, the markings on the device, and even the name given by the installed device driver claim it is, it is currently in name only because of driver issues (tested on win 10 and 11)You can Identify active Bluetooth version via LMP noted from advanced driver info, Windows Device Manager -> Properties on the Bluetooth device, then Advanced tab. LMP is listed as you can see in my second image.LMP 9 is Bluetooth 5.0LMP 10 is Bluetooth 5.1This device comes up as HCI 9.55449 / LMP 9.25805 which is only Bluetooth 5.0.Both the drivers on the mini-cd supplied and from Windows Update are version 3015, giving LMP 9.If the device is uninstalled from Device Manager with the option of removing the driver, then Windows briefly installs a Generic Bluetooth 5.1 driver that shows LMP 10, but Windows Update automatically replaces it very shortly afterwards with the Realtek driver. The hardware is obviously being held back by the driver, as such it is not possible to use or review the new BlueTooth 5.1 functionality (device location detection, faster connection with GATT Caching)Finally the packaging claims this is "USB 2.0 interface, USB 1.1 compatible" It is only USB 1.1 as shown by hwinfo connection details when plugged into USB 2 or USB 3 ports, this too perhaps could be a firmware issue, though USB 1.1's bandwidth is twelve Mbps max so this is NOT a limiting factor as Bluetooth 5.1 is still only two Mbps.
