I wish I could give 4.5 stars instead of 5 it works great for my Trimble set up (r-780 and r780-2) but it’s got a set screw in it that holds the button from coming all the way out that needs to be loctited in place or else it will eventually work its way out and you’ll lose the button that’s the only thing. I actually need to order another one for my other base station it’s a lot cheaper than buying it from Trimble definitely worth the money just take the set screw out and put a dab of loctite on it and put it back in and it’s perfect

Great fit and finish. The button is a good resistance and there’s no way to accidentally release the lock. Makes my life easier, that’s for sure.

Nice part. Works as intended. heavy duty. Does not feel cheap. The manufacturing quality is top notch

Before getting it, I had to adjust the locking nut many times during the use of the instrument.But now, the job is so easy and convenient, I just need to press a button to disengage the instrument.
