Ryobi 40V 4.0 Ah Lithium-Ion Battery OP4040

Purchased as a second battery for a cordless string trimmer. The battery has enough life that I can completely trim the yard and then have a second battery available to use the brush trimmer attachment for the small saplings. Since it is OEM it looks the same, attaches the same and weighs the same as the battery that came with the unit.

This battery replaced the original battery for the Ryobi mower, but it still didn’t fit properly into the compartment. Therefore, the lid cannot close properly

Works great. At the time this was purchased it was a better price and we could get at the local hardware store. Unfortunately tried some knock offs that are rated at more amp hours that are junk.

Fits multiple Ryobi products.

Defective. Worked exactly one time and now it won’t recharge in a Ryobi charger that is working properly.

This is a follow up to my earlier post. A company representative reached out and did offer me a return solution. I am very pleased with the results of the transaction. This has nothing to do with the quality of the product. I have three Ryobi pieces of equipment and 5 batteries, they are the best in class and I have had no issues for over two years of use!
