it's about time...and healthier too
Having used nonstick cookware forever I was a little nervous in switching to stainless steel but.....I'm so glad I did!!! I absolutely love this brand!! It is very sturdy and quite heavier than others. Love it's shine, the size of the individual pots, and the cute lids! it's a stunning set at that! it took me awhile to get used to the preheating and no longer use of cooking spray, but at least now I can scrub them clean and not have to worry about scratching teflon. The price was fantastic!!

What A Deal!!!
Update 2-27-18I like this cookware so much that I've purchased the 3 quart chicken fryer which includes a lid. Makes perfect chicken in wine because I can finish cooking in the oven. Also remember that stainless lids are more sanitary than glass because food can't get trapped inside.Update 11-03-16:I've now owned and happily used this cookware for over 2 years. I can honestly say that it cooks as well as my single All Clad saute pan (which I received as a gift). Considering that I can buy a full set of the Duxtop cookware for LESS than the price of one All Clad pan, the purchase becomes a no-brainer. This is a fantastic product at a bargain price! If you're looking for a starter set of tri-ply cookware, look no further. This is a high quality set at an incredible price. Don't hesitate, cuz Amazon might come around and start selling this set for a profit. The pieces are heavier than one would expect and have VERY solid handles that stay reasonably cool. Sticking should not be a major problem as long as you remember to ALWAYS preheat your pans before adding your lipid. Also, tri-ply construction means that you are able to cook at a lower temperature setting than you may be used to with your previous cookware. Once you adapt to the "Stainless Learning Curve", you'll never want another type of cookware. BTW: Tri-ply works great regardless of your type of heating element.

Solid set for someone on a budget!
After 28 years of marriage I finally got a good set of cookware! We had a cheaper set of hand me down Revere Ware from the days of my first apartment. As pieces wore out they were replaced by more cheap pots and pans. Finally, I decided it was time to get rid of my cheap hodgepodge cookware and get something good, but still needed to stay on budget. These did the trick! I have used them about 5 months now on a glass top electric range. (not induction.) They cook evenly and clean up easily. The pans clean up easier than non stick cookware and don't have a coating we have to worry about flaking off. The handles feel natural in my hand, comfortable to grip, and each piece is weighted nicely. They have enough heft to tell they are solidly built but not too heavy for me to handle with food in them. They still look like new and we use them every day. I have them hanging on a ceiling mounted rack from S hooks and they look great. I am very happy with these and would recommend them to anyone looking for a decent set of cookware at a fair price.

All-Clad quality for less.
This is a great set, especially for the money. Each pot/pan has a good weight and balance (no pan tipping over when empty). Food cooks evenly and heats quickly. There is a learning curve if you are coming from non-stick. You must use a lower temperature and have some sort of oil in the pan when cooking foods that are lower in fat. Do a bit of reading on how to cook with stainless, and you shouldn't have any problems. This set is no different than any other set in that regard. One stainless steel pan isn't going to be more or less non-stick than another. It's all in how you cook with them.My only complaint regarding this set is quality control. I noticed some finish errors, some pitting where the chrome finish on the outside wasn't completely covering. This was very minor and hard to spot unless you are really looking. I contacted Amazon and they took care of the issue. So minus a star for the finish, but 5 stars for Amazon customer service!

High quality pans!
Great set. High quality. I love these pans. I'll never go back to the TOXIC nonstick pans.

Awesome pans, work great. No issues.
I waited to write a review. I’m married and have two kids, so I cook a lot. I got tired of “non-stick” pans constantly chipping, even high end brands. All those chemicals can’t be healthy. So I figured I would try stainless out. I did a lot of research on how to use them and how to clean and take care of them. I use a glass top electric range and I’ve been using these for a few months now and they are perfect. Easy to clean and non stick if you “season” the pans first. You don’t need high heat with these.. just do research and watch videos on how to take care of and cook with stainless. It’s pretty easy once you figure it all out. I’ve looked through the bad reviews on here too and I’ve noticed almost all of them are people who used too much heat or didn’t season the pans and just didn’t take care of them. Do your own research like I did. These pans are amazing for the price.

value for the $
love DUXTOP pans! good value for the money.... great for induction stove top cooking; you can only use stainless steel on induction and I now have 2 sets of these. clean up very well also. heat distribution? a little dicey. but I usually will rotate any saucepan, etc on the stove anyway....have yet in many years to find any stove top with 'perfect heat distribution'
