For something an inch long, these are very impressive.The 1500 MPH definitely isn't true. It's scale speed, which is printed on the box as such. These are approximately 1/100 scale, which means it's capable of about 15 MPH.As a kid, I had Micro Machines and Speedeez. Recently, I've bought the tiny cars sold under the Walmart house brand, but they're really crude. These Nano Speed cars, to me are just as good if not better as the old Speedez or Micro Machines. Also, this is the first licensed pack I've seen from Nano Speed containing a red Ford SVT Raptor and a Grabber Blue Ford Mustang GT.They're both fully detailed, only one that's lacking any details is the Raptor, which has no decoration at all on the rear, except for a painted rear bumper. The pullback motor works really well, and when pulled until it clicks once (they work best if pulled back to that specific point) it can go about 15 feet.I would have given it five stars, but the SVT Raptor didn't work, and appeared to have a broken pull back motor. Luckily, these, like slot cars, all share a common motor, axle, and chassis, so I took out the screw, popped the motor out, and exchanged the motor and front axle (so it wouldn't look goofy) with another from a different two pack of cars I had bought at the same time. This has happened twice, with another I bought about a year ago, in it, the rally truck was broken.These clearly aren't worth $12. I paid $1.49 for this two pack, which is reasonable for something of this size.
