My wife is so happy to a have a lasting battery again! And it’s so much less expensive than buying a whole new iPhone, even a used one! Instructions were easy to follow, and with careful work, I had it done in a timely manner.

This package has all the very small and delicate tools needed to replace the battery in an iPhone. The video instructions were absolutely necessary and very good. The hardest part was getting the back of the phone case off as a first step. After that, patience, a steady hand and a clean large workspace (so if a tiny screw drops it will not get lost) are all it takes. Much less costly than taking it to Apple. The battery itself works just like new.

The battery worked out fine once I got it installed. Takes a charge and reports OK in Settings. I'll do a battery test over the next day or two and update this review if I find anything notable.Installation is a pain on every iPhone i've ever done it on. If you don't have loads of patience, excellent eyes, and steady hands, just pay the $80 to have it done it at the Apple Store.I'm taking off one star becasue this battery did not come with the proper-sized standard screwdriver bit to remove and reinstall the standoff screw on the corner of the speaker. Make sure to have a set of small, precision screwdrivers handy before you start disassembling your phone. It had everything else needed, including a new waterproof seal. Have some isopropyl alcohol on hand; you'll need it to clean off the old seal and possibly to help with battery adhesive removal.Overall, I'm quite happy with this replacement battery. Upgrading the capacity to 50% more than the original battery will be helpful!

Good product, came with tools but they are not magnetic so I used different ones. Aftermarket batteries don’t last as long as original but are a good value

The battery fits the phone perfectly installed easily without any issues, and was charged fully after installation. However the battery proves to be cheaply made as it does not hold a charge for long, the phone now heats up while charging, and the phone reboots spontaneously below 50% and comes back with significantly less battery percentage than before the restart.Without a doubt, this battery is beyond cheap and you should definitely spend the extra $5 on a better one.This post was worded to the make amazon reviews AI happy. 0/5*, would send back if I could.Edit/update: its been 2 months since installing the battery now, and my phone reboots due to voltage drop at 60% battery upon receiving a notification. Watch a disassembly video first! It will help immensely. The battery is easy to replace, but I don’t feel this battery seemed to add a whole lot more life than my OEM which was at 80% capacity. It does last a little longer, but since the phone cant recognize it I really don’t think it fully benefits from changing it out.The hardest part of any work on the iPhone is knowing the order to remove and replace the layers of the phone. DO NOT mix up the screws. They look very similar but will not fit in the hole next to where it came most of the time. I bought a screw kit so that I had extras after losing a few into the abyss that is the carpet.

I have an older IPhone 6s with a failing battery. My wife has one, too. We are not quite ready to trade them in and probably won’t be able to get anything for them. So I watched Utube to see a video on how to replace a battery for my iPhone. After watching I decided that I could do it and I did!!! For $20. I have a new improved battery and when I am ready, I can get a new phone. I can now get a lot more time out of it for about 1-2 hours of taking my time to do it right! I am now going to get one for my wife’s phone!
