Stars and Stripes Forever
I purchased this flag in Sept. '11 for just under $30. I have flown this flag on a 20' flag pole in East Texas almost everyday since, except for inclement weather. I do try to remove the flag during thunderstorms and rain. For 8 months it has flown and it remains in almost the same new condition as when I received it. There are no threads starting to run, no ends starting to fray, and no obvious colors fading (red, white, or blue). It is a well constructed heavy duty flag that, while it won't last forever (surely), it should outlast the $10-$20 flags that I have purchased in the past by many months. I usually have to replace those less expensive flags every 6-8 months (and the "wear" on those flags are obvious well before then), but not with this one. You can tell it's heavy duty when you first take it out of the box and it looks very nice on the flag pole. It flies well, but does need a somewhat faster breeze to get it to stand out, unlike the previous flags I have had. For me, it is worth the price and I have been very pleased so far with this tough Annin Tough-Tex Woven Polyester flag.Update (9/5/12): It has now been approximately one year since I began flying this flag. Again, it flies everyday except during inclement weather. The flag is still in very good condition. The reds and blues are starting to fade slightly (but it is really only noticeable when you see the flag up close) but still looks great from the ground. I have seen a couple of threads on the bottom corner of the stipes end beginning to fray, but other than that the flag is still holding together very well. It still maintains a "heavy feel" to the material it is made of. The grommets are still in good shape and have not rusted out like other less expensive flags I have had. I would have most likely purchased at least two lower cost flags by now. First time I have knowingly owned an Annin flag and I am very pleased so far.Update (9/17/13): Truly amazing for a flag! I have now flown the flag for two years on the same 20 foot flag pole....day in, day out, except for inclement weather most times. It is still in really good shape. All seams are still holding together well, grommets are still in good shape (no rusting or "wear thru" that is evident), no tearing, shredding, or loose seams in the flag's end that waves in the breeze, and it still has a "heavy feel" to the material of the flag. It has faded a little more, but the reds and blues are still easily distinguishable from the ground (just not as deep in color as last year) and if I weren't critiquing the flag, I wouldn't even mention it. The fraying threads on the bottom corner, I mentioned last year, have NOT worsened and could have been threads cut during manufacturing process. (I'm thinking they should start making airplane black boxes out of this material!) Very, very pleased with this flag! Well worth the money and if you don't fly it everyday (as on holidays only), it will probably easily last you for a lifetime! If Annin doesn't change the way they construct this flag, I will definitely buy another....if I ever need to! (And NO, I have no personal ties to Annin....just know they are an American company that evidently produces an excellent product!)Update (9/16/14): The flag has now flown for three years on the same 20' pole. It is faded, but the reds and blues are still distinguishable from the ground, just not as deep and rich in color as new. The white portions of the flag are still white and have not yellowed. The flag itself is still holding up very well in regards to its seams. There have been no threads or seams that have separated and the end of the flag is not tattered or shredding as so many flags do. It is not as stiff as when it was new, of course, but it still has a heavy feel to the cloth. The grommets are still intact and viable, as I use metal clasps that attach the flag to the rope and would have expected these to have worn through by now. I'm still very pleased with this flag. I would have purchased probably 5-6 of the standard nylon/polyester flags by now, so it has been well worth the money. Thanks Annin for a great American flag to be proud of!5/1/15- The above flag has now been retired from its pole permanently. It began separating at the seams of the red and white field stripes near the fly end of the flag. The embroidered stars began to unravel also. As of 5/31/15, I began flying another new Annin Tough-Tex flag to replace the old one. There are many companies saying they are selling an Annin Tough-Tex flag, but be careful......unless they say Annin on the hoist end of the flag, it is NOT an Annin!

Best flag ever!
I saw this company on ABC World News w/ David Muir, the Made in American segment. The quality of this flag is vastly superior to anything I could have purchased locally. The stitching, the fabric, the grommets, the color, the way it drapes (see picture). I love our flag, it is beautiful. The folks at Annin Flagmakers do a wonderful job. If your flag says made in China, get rid of it - do you think that Chinese flags say "Made in America", unlikely.- Proud American.

Awesome materials not polyester and best of all Made in the USA
Quality material and made in USA not China. Vibrant colors, flys with flow. Definitely money spent well, for a high quality flag.

Heavy-duty flag, flies very well, looks amazing
Our subdivision keeps a large 5x8 flag flying on a 35' pole year round. The wind in our area can easily hit 60mph on a regular basis. This ends up shredding most lightweight nylon and polyester flags in relatively short order. This American made flag is a heavy weight fabric, well stitched and looks great. It flies well in moderate winds and should greatly outlast the competition. Great value!

Here's What I Really Think About This…
This flag is super sturdy and really well made. The colors are vibrant, and it holds up great in wind and rain. Love that it’s made in the USA. Definitely feels like it’ll last a long time outside. Worth every penny if you want quality!

Well made flag, but it faded
This flag is beautiful and well made. My only complaint is that it has faded pretty badly on one side. We have had it less than a year and it's been faded for several months. I've seen many reviews stating that it doesn't fade, so maybe I just got a bad one? It has held up to our high winds, which is great!

Quality flag!
This flag is absolutely gorgeous. We usually buy regular nylon flags with embroidered stars and we decided on the commercial cloth one this time. It has been 3+ years since purchasing a new flag and we wanted a new one for July 4th. The weight of the material and overall quality are fantastic! I cannot comment on the durability yet but I think this will last just as long if not longer than it's predecessors. I highly recommend this product.

Good American flag
Annin American Flags are beautiful and strong in the wind. Very well made and last a long time. I live in the high desert and it is very windy here. This flag is going on 9 months and has not torn or faded. Worth every penny.
