One of the best shampoos for damaged or bleached hair!
I have medium-to-thick, bleached, and compromised hair, and this shampoo truly made a difference. The texture is creamy, it doesn’t dry out the scalp, and after rinsing, my hair feels softer, stronger, and visibly healthier. It’s not just surface-level shine — it feels like it’s actually restoring the hair from within.I love that it’s free from harsh sulfates and contains Alpha Keratin 60ku, a patented protein that seems to genuinely help repair damage. I use it on days when I’m not applying K18, and paired with the Virtue Recovery Mask, the results are amazing. If you have color-treated, dry, or damaged hair — this is worth the investment. Pricey, yes, but 100% worth it for the results

Hair feels soft, smoother, healthier!
Amazing shampoo! A little goes a long way. So, although priced much higher than those 16 oz- 32 oz bottles ( which contain a lot of water), this shampoo is well worth the price. Great smell too! Thickness of honey, so use a lot less than your other shampoos that come in larger bottles/ containers. I have tried a lot of shampoos over the years to get a soft, smooth, healthier feeling hair…and this shampoo gives those results. With thinner dryer hair due to treatment of breast cancer, and a user of hair dryer/ flat iron over the years. I am so happy with this shampoo. I purchased the conditioner too.

Finally!
I used to have thick, lush hair. Age and things changed that and I've spent a long time looking for something that doesn't contribute to my hair falling out, keeps it healthy, and doesn't need a ton of extra product to detangle and style. My one star off is that it does straighten what little curl/wave I have right out. Need to try the curl type but haven't.

Great for Hair Strength/Skin however Debatable
I am a split end & hair picker, sensitive scalp girlie. I never used a good quality shampoo and decided to give this a try. I've been using this shampoo for over 8-10 months now. I absolutely love it and within two months I noticed a significant improvement in my hair strength and growth. However, there was also a noticeable difference in my scalp oil increase. I've developed almost like psoriasis around my ears and hairline at my neck. I haven't changed anything, but the shampoo, so I only assume this is what it may be from...which is a huge bummer since I like the shampoo. I haven't seen any other reviews related to this side effect.

Great products
I love Virtue shampoo and conditioner. On the expensive side, but well worth the splurge. Your hair will thank you.

Avoid The Recovery Systems Unless You Want to Further Damage Your Hair
I started using the Recovery Shampoo and Conditioner about 3 years ago. My hair felt softer when wet and was easy to comb through. So, I thought this meant that it was repairing the damage. Wrong! I started to notice that my hair was breaking off more after about 6 months. Then it became brittle and I lost all the elasticity. I never thought it had anything to do with these products because of how soft my hair was when wet and the ease of combing through it. However, it just became more and more frizzy, brittle, snapping off, split ends galore. Turns out, these products caused SIGNIFICANT protein overload, but due to something in the products coating my hair, it was hiding the damage it was causing. Now, my hair is so far gone with protein overload that it’s probably going to take a year to repair and I’m praying I don’t have to cut it off. I just had to spend hundreds of dollars on products to start correcting what’s been done. I’m furious with the brand not warning that these products are not meant for long term, but instead make it seem like an ongoing answer to prayers. I feel duped, especially after the staggering amount of money I’ve paid them to ruin my hair. I wasn’t even aware of the amount of protein in these nor was I aware that it’s possible to overload your hair with it. The fact that the other ingredients hide what it’s doing so well makes me so angry. I turned to these products in desperation to save my hair and now it’s worse than when I started using them. They may be good for short term or occasional use, but don’t buy these for your normal hair routine. I specifically saw advertisements with Jennifer Garner going through her daily routine with the Recovery system specifically. It’s incredibly misleading, so don’t buy into the hype. Turns out that many people also aren’t finding out what’s been done to their hair from these products until it’s too late. However, you won’t see it without some research. Used to love these and now they’re one of my biggest regrets.
