I'm NOT using it for DATA TRANSFER !!! For What I Expected to pay for One, I got Three. No Issues, seems Sturdy, works as Expected. They Keep making the Charging cables Shorter, and Shorter. KICK Those SHORT CHARGER Cord Problems To the Curb ! I COULD use the Plug on the Other side of the Room, now. And in the ONE Outlet Shed ! 😀 Not sure What this thing is Rated for, "charging power", I'd Imagine it would depend on the USB it's Plugged INTO. It's data transfer rate, 480 Mbps . It SHOULD handle a 2amp current USB. Do they Go Higher than That?

Bought this 15-ft USB extension cable on a sale ($1.99) in Amazon. The USB extension cable is better than those fixed length USB cables, as I can easily connect two or more USB cables per my need. I purchased 3 with the intention to daisy chain them up to make a 45-ft long cable to provide DC power to my WyzeCam that I hang under the roof eaves in front of my garage door. For passing data, the long USB cable may not work as data is dynamic signal. But, for powering up a DC device, this is perfect because DC voltage is a static signal. For powering up a USB device, even with the non-sales price of $4.99, this 15-ft USB extension cable is still a better alternative than other fixed length USB cables. I am very happy with this USB extension cables as it works as expected to power up my wireless security camera.

I use this so I don't need to reach the back of the computer under the desk. My other cable get 80MBS while this one only does 6 to 20 MBS. Will work for a mouse, keyboard, joystick or to charge, but data transfer will take 4 to 5 times longer.

I needed a long USB cord that would reach the back of my car and this one was perfect. It's very sturdy and it works as advertised, not to mention that it was a great value for the price. I would recommend this product absolutely.

EXCELLENT PRODUCT. I bought it on a whim (no technical spec research), and I'm quite pleased w/ it. Cord feels heavy-duty (fabric mesh braided). It transfered data quite well, without knowing tech-specs....mighty little cord w/ reasonable price.

I need some way to extend my Lorex USB power cable to reach outlet in my garage. Get the active cable with signal booster, this doesn't work. Do google search and read more about active vs. passive USB extension cable. Also found one of the reviews which get my attention then decide to get this one. It comes within 22 hours. Hook it up, camera powers on just fine. You just need a passive USB extension cable without any in-line booster in the cable to send power a little further down the line.

I got this to power a 16ft LED light strip. It works well. I was worried that with this usb extension being so long the power might not be enough to give the lights a steady flow of electricity but it works perfectly. For the price you can't go wrong getting this.
