Good size, price is high, need more color options
These luggage straps are the longest available that I am aware of. They fit easily over the long edge (vertically) of a 28“ suitcase. Modern hard shell suitcases often suffer failure in the zipper areas - securing them with straps both horizontally and vertically reduces stress in those areas. These luggage straps allow you to do that with a few inches to spare even over the long edge, thus allowing for some margin for off nominal suitcase sizes, or very full soft shell luggage. Smart.Unlike what other reviewers have noted, the buckles on the two straps I received snap closed securely and hold well. Standard width at 2“. Feeling sturdy and strong. Nice visible color options for quick initial luggage identification - but more color options would be nice. Price is too high compared to other options, although they are all shorter. If you need the length this is your best choice. Overall recommend.

I dont know whey I dont see mroe of these
I went on vacation with my wife and, like everyone else, our checked luggage is black. So, I bought these to put around our bags so we could find them in baggage claim and so nobody else took our bag (this has actually happened to me before). I felt smart - sooo easy to spot from a mile away. I continue to watch and see nobody using these. Instead, people tie things to thier bag. This is a much better choice. Buy one. But more than one and give them to firends!!

Strong and Sturdy
After 4 airplane trips and one cruise, I thought I'd update you. These straps work! Stayed on and kept my luggage together. A great purchase for a traveler.I bought two of these for my luggage. One of my suitcases folds over and I'm always worried about the stress on the zippers and it flying open with rough handling. These belts are plenty long and go on and off very easily. I bought the rainbow colors so I could identify my gray luggage more easily. If you want to make sure your luggage stays shut, I highly recommend these. :)

A Little Different Purpose
I purchased the Lewis N. Clark Luggage Belt to hold my oxygen tank onto my power wheelchair. It works great and at $6.29 Prime, I got it at a great price!I posted a pic of the Luggage Belt doing it's job. I like it so much, I may actually purchase some for my son when he travels this summer, I think it will be great to strap his sleeping bag onto his luggage.

Prevent your suitcase from coming open on its own.
It worked! After buying a new well-known brand $100+ suitcase, I arrived at the luggage carousel to discover my suitcase half unzipped and my belongings falling out of the suitcase along the carousel. The zipped end had split apart on its own - with the zipper handle still securely zipped. I returned that suitcase immediately - and bought this travel belt. It is easy to use and kept my replacement suitcase intact. TSA accessed the suitcase but could easily secure it again. Now I'm buying more belts to prevent future disasters. I didn't realize why people had used them before but the new suitcases are now very flimsy and obviously have weak zippers.

Like It So Far
I bought this strap (luggage belt) for extra security for a cat carrier I recently purchased. I had been using lashing straps on some of my other top-load carriers, and feel very secure in their ability to withstand repeated uses, and I'm pretty certain the lashing straps will never fail. I am, however, a bit concerned about the plastic closure on this strap failing at some point. But, the ease of use with this strap (much easier to close than the lashing straps), in combination with what I consider a better quality top-load carrier, makes the risk of the carrier and this strap failing at the exact same time miniscule.

Broke first time used on airline luggage - Lost 1, 2nd barely hangin' on.
Though they were a bit pricey, I bought two of these based on positive reviews, and needed the extra length this featured over most competition. Placed two on my luggage, and away we flew. When we arrived, here comes my luggage down the belt with one strap totally missing. Hmmmm. One was still there, so kinda good, right? Nope! Found the second one was indeed holding on, but just barely, as it had one of the main clasp's prongs broken off, and the cinch clasp had a portion broken off as well. I wheeled it out to the shuttle, and as soon as the driver tried to pick up the luggage by the strap, it popped off and my luggage hit the ground. "Nice! Sorry!" apologized the driver.I'd have asked for a refund, but since I did not have one of the belts, I couldn't return it. And as for the second 'partial' one, I would have had to pay for the return shipping.I would not recommend this product, nor purchase another.

American Airlines Removed Them
I bought three of these because a bell captain broke the zipper on my suitcase. I was able to fix the zipper and decided to wrap these around my suitcase to hold things together in case the zipper broke again. However. at some point, the baggage handlers removed them. Frustrating because the zipper broke again.

Works For Now....
Helped identify my black luggage from all the other black luggages when coming around the carousel. Quality is not the greatest. After a return flight the plastic buckle is not as snug compared to when I first bought it. I wouldn't be surprised if it broke on my next trip. So don't consider this a long term investment.
