Works Great—But Be Prepared if You Buy Used
Picked this up used from an Amazon vendor to save a few bucks, but it was missing all the internal connection hardware—no terminal screws to attach wiring—and even the mounting hardware was gone. Luckily, I tested the switch with an ohm meter and everything checked out, so I knew it would work once wired properly. I contacted Dial Manufacturing, and they were helpful and sent out the missing parts. Still, waiting on those delayed the install and was a bit of a pain. In the end, it works great for my swamp cooler setup, but I’d recommend buying new unless you’re ready to troubleshoot and follow up for missing pieces. Attached are photos of switch with the hardware replaced.

Great switch
Easy to install and use. I've had it for a year now and it's still strong. Replaces my previous switch perfectly. I'm quite happy with it.

Works!
I put in a swamp cooler for the garage, used, it was wired just on the high winding. Glad I put this switch in, low has it's place! Also I no longer need to plug/unplug the water pump or motor.

They do wear out and require replacement
Know that this switch will need to be replaced at some time. The contact points are inexpensive and after time look like the surface of the moon, all pitted. This will drive up amperage due to lack of point surface contact and make the overload turn off the motor in the cooler.
