This portable shaver is a nice placement for my 20 year-old Braun Pocket Go M90 shaver. I would have loved to get another M90 but the most recent reviews indicate that they have changed the foil design so the shaver no longer works as effectively as my old model. I thought I'd give this one a try and was pleasantly surprised and happy that I did.There are several advantages this shaver has over the M90. It is really small! It will fit into a travel toiletry bag very well. Not sure if it's because the blade is new but it shaves cleanly easily. Afterwards I actually feel the slight razor burn that tells me the job is well done. The possible disadvantage is that it is not water proof, or if it is then it's not in the product description. However this is not an issue. The blade snaps off really easily so rinsing it without getting the shaver wet is simple. All in all it's a powerful device that is highly portable and effective.

The media could not be loaded. This was another really pleasant surprise from China. A great Panasonic shaver, at a very low price. I wanted to touch up where I'd style my beard with a clipper, to get really smooth. Turns out it shaves so smoothly my neck was soft as a baby's ass. This little Panasonic performed as well as my Braun shaver. There's a handy screen cover, it takes a couple of AA batteries. A slide switch for ON/OFF. I've used it for several weeks now with the same batteries and no slowdown. It's also a handsome little square unit. A real value anyway you cut this, quality and very inexpensive. Thanks for the beauty Amazon! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! A real treat.

This rating is for this low priced, NOT top of the line, travel shaver. It works well for me, you need to use it every day or 2 or it will be difficult to shave all the whiskers effectively. It's not gonna be a great shave, exactly what would you expect for a $20 shaver? But I like to travel light, and I go camping a lot and this works fine for that. I would not use it if I had a hot date coming up, but it keeps a close enough shave for me. It's small and lightweight, it uses 2 AA batteries which I can find anywhere in the world so it's perfect for me for traveling/camping

I already have one of these shavers and I have enjoyed using it. It does a very good job shaving closely. I ordered another one to use for my travels and as a backup. Recommended.

Started to operate intermittently, then finally quit after 2 weeks. No good. I'm pretty handy and was half way round the world counting on this shaver to work for me. No good. After 2 weeks it stopped working consistently becoming slow and turning off.I changed the batteries, no good; adjusted the battery tabs, no good; tapped, pounded, cleaned, fiddled with the shaver, no good.So sad as I have used similar Panasonic battery razors (ES3831K type formerly made in Japan) for decades with great results, long battery life and reliable operation. This made in Japan shaver? No good.

A long time ago (decades) I had an electric shaver and it never worked really great. Electric shavers at the time were really expensive, and many did not work well, so eventually I started using cartridge shavers. That is a little inconvenient so when out of the corner of my eye I notice Amazon trying to get me to take a look at this, and realizing that my Panasonic purchases have all been pretty good, I bought it to try out.Oh, I was skeptical, even after I used it the first few times. I thought it would jam or break or just stop working, but it works really well.So easy to use, and you don't have to have a towel, shaving cream and stand immobile at a sink getting wet. I keep it on my desktop at home and if I notice my whiskers getting a bit rough I flick it on and run it around my face. It works! And it is very convenient.It is small and light and can use my rechargeable batteries. I love it, especially the price.Rating 5/5

Always hated electric shavers until this dropped into my life. Amazingly effective device. I use it to extend blade shave for a day or two (or three!) with little noticeable difference from blade shave. Great for afternoon/evening cleanups. Works best when used every 24 hours, then hairs can get too long for it to handle. A spectacular little device that keeps you looking good. Fun to use. Comfortable close shave. Good battery life. I store mine in one of those plastic travel bar soap cases that are available everywhere. Fits perfectly. Maybe the best form/function/price thing I have ever purchased.

My old travel razor finally started to break down. It was ok, very noisy, loud enough to wake everyone up. Loved It! Anyway, always liked Panasonic products and this razor got fairly good reviews. Bought the carrying storage case as well to hold the cleaning brush and extra AA batteries. Was just a little apprehensive ordering as some reviews told of razor burns. Well, this razor gave me a good, clean and close shave without skin burn. It must like ugly as my face. A better shave than my old travel razor. Its about the same size, fits in the hand nicely, not too heavy. And the noise? They didn’t wake up. (Darn!) The razor fits perfectly in the clamshell case. Push of the side button to take off the screen for cleaning. As far as the instructions: Learn to read Japanese. Actually, the razor operation is pretty straight forward, common sense will get it done. As a precaution that I do for any battery operated items: If not used for awhile, like this travel razor, take out the batteries. Nothing spoils a trip outta town faster than finding corroded batteries.This is a good buy as and recommended.
