Q: will these work on the spark plug end ?

I used one of these units for the connection that goes on the end that attaches to the lawn mower spark plug?? ---if this helps

Q: Will these fit 9mm wires?

Sorry im not sure, i put them on 8mm and thet fit fine. Possibly with some grease the boots would fit a larger wire
