AMAZON PRIME Review of the Posture Pump 1000 and 2000 Products.
AMAZON PRIME Review of the Posture Pump 1000 and 2000 Products. I am going to skip the normal antics you see in many reviews and simply tell you what my experience was. I must say first and foremost that I have no investment in this product nor know anyone at the company that sells it or have any interest whatsoever in it. My only interest here is to share what I experienced because no other product I have used or bought in the past has made such a difference in my well-being. Having said that I understand that because we are all different we will have different experiences and your experience may or may not be the same. I bought this product with a lot of hesitation, as I am sure many people do. I saw some of the reviews that claim the product wasn't packed properly or that it lacked instructions, etc., but after paying several thousand dollars in "Chiropractors" and being told by one about the "Lordex® Spine" treatment that would cost me several thousand dollars and many hours of my time, and reading some of the reviews of other people that bought this product I decided to buy it. I did go to the inventors or original marketers' website at http://www.posturepump.com and found extensive documentation, videos, lectures and studies that have been done on this product, and most importantly the reason why this product works; in other words what the product does to your spine and why that will make you feel better. The explanations and instructional videos are easy to understand without the use of highly technical terms or "hocus pocus" procedures or vague explanations. I then understood the why of my neck and back problems, and so I decided to buy it. This was on a Thursday evening with sharp pains in my back and neck and after being turned down by the local "Chiropractor" who works from 9-11am and 4-6pm Monday to Friday. (What a life huh?) I bought the product through Amazon Prime, and received it promptly on the following Tuesday as promised. (I am sure that who you buy from makes a difference. I bought this through Amazon Prime from Pro Therapy Supplies.) After work I opened the Amazon box and found the 2 products the Model 1000 (Neck product) and the Model 2000 (Back Product) neatly packed in their full color original boxes. After some of the reviews listed here I expected to find no documentation, but indeed the contrary was true. Inside each box I found 2 sheets explaining in full detail how to use the product and giving extensive advice about what to do and what NOT to do. Each box for each product also contained a full color brochure about the Posture Pump line of products with the information about the company, their website, phone numbers, address, and again explanations of why the product works, what it does to your spine. Hesitantly but eager to find out if the products I purchased with my hard earn money were going to alleviate the excruciating pain I was suffering I extracted the products from their respective boxes, set them up and first used the Posture Pump® Cervical Disc Hydrator® (Model 1000). I went through the entire routine as clearly instructed in the two double sided printed black and white sheets included in the package, and although I did experience a little pain, by the time I finished about 10 minutes later, I could simply not believe the difference that it made in my neck. I was immediately able to turn my head in both directions without pain, the numbness in my left hand subsided and I felt invigorated and a relief I had not experienced in YEARS of going to the infamous "Chiropractors" and paying hundreds if not thousands of dollars in "adjustments" that many times did not last an hour or made me feel worse. Encouraged by those results I immediately proceeded to setup the Back model 2000. I did the warm-up exercises as instructed and proceeded to follow the routine CLEARLY explained in the instruction sheets included in the box. After 15 minutes or so, once I was done doing my whole back, starting from the bottom to the top, I did the after or "cool down" exercises and got up. Again, I could not believe the immediate results that I experienced. It was palpable, real. My back and neck pain were gone. I could sit down and get up without feeling the sharp pain that goes along with such movements in most back pain victims. I laid down in my bed, upright, downright, sideways, got up, sat down, laid down again, kneeled down, got up, stood on one leg, moved my head up, down, side to side and felt no pain; the pain was GONE! I know that many people will have and may have had different experiences, but after reading most of the reviews and most importantly, buying the product myself and personally experiencing the results, I cannot but give this product the top review that it deserves and I hope you find this review helpful. Do yourself a favor. First, don't buy a used product and expect to receive it pristine and with all the instructions as the original manufacturer packs them. You are investing in your health. Second, follow the instructions to the letter. Third, remember that your back problems are a result of a life time of bad habits, issues or injuries that need to be corrected and that it will, as everything else in this world, take time to completely heal. Yes my results were immediate and outstanding but yours may not be that defined. Be patient, work with it, continue and keep up the routines on a daily basis and you will see results. It did for me. This product really works, it worked and continues to work for me in an incredible way, and whoever thought of it deserves a big KUDOS for it.

Awesome gadget! This has been a life/back saver! I'm super pleased that I bought this!
I call this my back decompressor, I love this thing! It has worked wonders for me! It decompresses my back, and often if not most times, I can get a back "pop" out of it. It also provides a really nice stretch across the front hip/pelvic area which is super helpful. I'm pretty sure this gadget has kept me mobile many times on days I otherwise would have been in terrible pain, in need of a chiropractor or massage! I truly feel this is helping me heal and (helping) with keeping my back in-line. Sometimes I'll use it for 45 minutes and include other stretches. For reference, my back issues are L4, L5 & S1, with degenerating disks. When using this, upon releasing the air, I can really feel the blood flowing to my lower back, which feels good & the blood flow to the area is hopefully bringing some healing. I've had this for about 2-3 months, it seems to be made very well. I'm a small person (5' tall, 115Lbs) so I don't know how regular sized people feel about this. I absolutely recommend this product and will be buying the neck stretcher from this same seller. I have had a lot of injuries over the years, that along with a job that keeps me sedentary has taken its toll.

Working well
Using this on a daily basis and it has proved effective. I do 10 reps of 10 seconds each on the lower back and that combined with the chiropractor has made significant difference. My chiropractor sessions are done but I will continue to use the posture pump

Works if used correctly
I’m a very honest critic. I didn’t give it 5 stars because it’s a great tool to release spine tension, however it’s not going to fix your spine. If you don’t use it properly. It may end up complicating back issues so that’s another reason. However, 4 stars is great and this product is great if you are about your spine health (your spine sends wavelengths throughout all your body so this product is fantastic!)

Be careful with this device because it could cause issues that you didn't have previously.
I purchased the posture pump in the hope that it would help with my poor posture from working at a desk all day. However, I found this device actually increased the pain in my lower back and caused something that I did not have previously, which was pain in the groin/pelvic/genital region for an extended period of time. I never experienced such pain in my life before using the posture pump on a daily basis for about a week. Then the pains started and are still reoccurring on a consistent basis. I have been tested at the doctor's office for a uti and prostate problems and the tests came back negative. So I determined that it must have been this device that caused some sort of issue with the spine and the nerves connected to the lower region of the body. I believe I'll just stick with monitoring my posture and using pillows to support my back throughout the day. Be careful if you decide to use devices such as the posture pump.

Wonderful daily therapy!
I got the neck posture pump and since I sit at a desk all day entering data and my lower back gets sore I thought I would try this lower back one out too. Just like the neck one, it works great and really does offer some much needed relief! Also, sometimes when I bend a certain way, my lower back catches and can hurt for several days. Since I have been using this product, that happens less frequently, and with a much lesser degree of pain and recovery time. I can physically tell that my lower back is benefiting from this and that, right away. So glad this is available, it's like having a private therapy session in the convenience of your own home. Well worth the money, highly recommend! *Side note: I think it would be nice/helpful if they would have colored the hand pumps two different colors since they are right hand left hand specific. Would make things much easier. Also, for that price, a nice little storage bag would be wonderful, as I had to purchase one.

This thing is awesome! Increased low back arch, blood flow & alertness after one use!
Update: I've now been using the posture pump every night for just over 2 weeks and my back has a much more pronounced arch and I"m standing up straighter than I have in years. ANd I never have the back pain and tightness that I used to have whenever i would stand up after sitting for more than a few minutes. I use it before I go to bed and even if I'm super wired before using the pumps (neck and low back), within 10 minutes, I'm getting so relaxed and sleepy that I immediately have to go to sleep (which is why I use it right before bed as the instructions had suggested). I still find that starting off with the lower unit and working with that for a few minutes (without being on the neck unit at all), then adding in the neck unit and working on that while I'm still on the lower inflated unit, is the best. I can tell the progress that I'm making in the flexibility of my neck and low back, because the number of pumps of air that I can now add has doubled since I first started using the pumps (I couldn't do more than 2 pumps on my neck when I first started and now I'm up to 4 full pumps (the max is 5). On the lower unit, I started with a total of 5 -6 pumps for the top and bottom air pillows. Now I'm up to 8-9 pumps for each.) Oh, and btw, I don't even use a towel in between the upper and lower unit. I just lie straight on the floor (on my area rug) - a yoga mat would also work. Original Review: After one use, I immediately felt the arch returning to my lower spine, increased blood flow & also felt wide awake after feeling exhausted right before using it. I got the neck version as well & am using them separately for the first few days until I get the routine down, but will then be doing both together. You save 65 bucks if you buy the neck & low back units separately instead of the one dual unit with the connecting pad in the middle. (Use a towel instead of the pad & save the money)

RIPOFF: CHEAP PIECE OF JUNK
It works just long enough to get you past the warranty period, which is only 6 months. On mine, the top piece developed a HUGE crack (see 1st photo) AND one of the bladders developed an air leak where the white post connects to the bladder (see 2nd Photo). I called their office in Huntington Beach CA to ask for instructions on how to separate the 2 pieces so I could fix it, but they refused to tell me, though they DID OFFER to fix the bladder for $60 (which wouldn't have done much good, considering the crack in the plastic). Turns out, it's EASY for anyone to separate top and bottom by inserting 2 screwdrivers on the end opposite the hoses and then pulling gently once you can get your fingers in between the two pieces (you might not even really need the screwdrivers). The two pieces are VERY weak and are just pressed together with posts and holes. Just CHEAP ON ALL LEVELS - the plastic is cheap, the bladders are cheap... the only nice thing about it is the neoprene material covering the bladders. BTW, I thought it would be difficult to get the bladder out of the neoprene cover, but it pulled right out through the hose hole, with no problem. I thought I might have to cut the neoprene, but thankfully, this was not necessary. Once I had the bad bladder out, I inflated it, put it underwater in the sink, and the bubbles told me where the leak was. I repaired the leak with some silicone seal and now the bladder holds air. If you don't want to pull the bladder all the way out of the neoprene covering, you can just barely pull the plug out (as in the third photo) and listen for air there, and that will save time and effort in getting the bladder back in. I actually damaged my repair putting it back in, so I'll repair it again in this position, and then very gently push it back into the neoprene cover. As for the crack, I will probably epoxy it back together, maybe with some fiberglass cloth for reinforcement, but the plastic on both pieces is very soft, thin and weak. My repair will be the strongest part of the unit. My personal advice? Just go buy a foam roller, it's 1/10-th the price and far more versatile.
