Sea to Summit Lite Line Camping and Travel Clothesline

Super compact! It weighs 28.5 grams, 0.99 ounces. The clothes stay put and you can add more black pony beads if you really want to. Love it. I didn't realize it was so small. Perfect for backpacking or any travel.

Love this! It worked great on a cruise (Royal Caribbean Harmony of the Seas). There weren't any clotheslines in the cabin and this worked great. We put it up for a few hours when needed and things quickly dried. We ordered two separate magnets that had carabiniers attached and it was easy to hook onto that. It was more than long enough. It was so compact it barely took up any room to pack, which was great since I was trying to not check a bag. The built in clothespins worked great.

For the past couple weeks, I have been able to set a clothes line when I don’t want to use the washer and dryer in a random new location. It’s very light weight and is stored in a small pouch to fit in my travel tool bag for easy living. I’m either in the dorms, camping, or in a hotel for work. I’m able to put 5 shirts and 2 jean pants with multiple support beams at the same time.

Item is just what I was looking for, very very compact and light. It was difficult to get the line out the first time but unlike some raters I was easily able to unwind it. The little bag was very tight initially, but since it is made of thin neoprene I was able to easily stretch it out before going using a shot glass and newspaper. I could then get the line in and out easier. I agree a few more beads would be nice, but I could easily hang things over the line to dry as well. I was also able to make little loops in one of the lines when pulled taught and put some light items in the loop I made as well as an item on a hanger (through the loop) without items flying to the middle. By spacing items hung with the balls I could then put other items over the line and they also did move to the middle. It did take some work to find some place in the hotel where I could hang it, but that would have been an issue with other products as well. I would recommend a buy on this item.

This is another great product from Seat to Summit. I bet a rollerboard extended handle would work too. A single line (11' at the very longest once you hook it) ought to work for one or two people's laundry, but if you are on the go and have that one day to do laundry or have a small family the single line might not be long enough if you are trying to dry out items so they folded over the line so as to reduce wrinkling. Being able to do laundry anywhere is key to traveling light--this makes it possible to pack only about a week's worth of clothing regardless of the length of the trip! This will be a permanent addition to my vacation travel packing list.

This is the perfect laundry line if you travel carry-on only. Sea to Summit always produces good products and this is no exception. The twisted line enables you to hang up wet clothes without having additional clips. We strung this all the way across our cabin in Costa Rica after getting caught in a rain storm and it was extremely functional. I wish I had taken a picture because it was pretty funny too!

I used this for a 12 day trip across the "pond." I stayed in hotels, and this came in so handy! I wrapped around shower head, and affixed it to a towel bar at one place. In another hotel, I situated it out on the balcony rails outside of our room, for any clothing items that needed to be line dried, which as it turned out, was most of my clothes, as I was trying to pack lighter weight items. it took a minute to figure out the beads, but as long as the line was drawn as tight as possible (without overstretching), the items stayed put. too loose, the beads wouldn't hold the clothes very well. My friend and I came to a conclusion that it would work REALLY well for outdoor camping, as the length of the line would make it easy to affix between trees or posts. No nails needed so no harm to the plants.

This little product was easy to rig in various small hotel bathrooms on my two week vacation. I could always find a way to make it work and didn’t have to travel with bulky hangers. It is very light and small.
