FlexiFreeze Professional Series Ice Vest

I work in a warehouse with stale air that turns into an oven! Triple digit heat in the middle of summer, when I get to work at 5:00 a.m. it's still 90 plus degrees inside the warehouse. I try to cheaper product first for $40, and it was absolutely garbage. After I purchased this product and tried it out for a week, there was absolutely no leaks inside the ice packs that came with it, none of the stitching was afraid, and it keeps me nice and cool inside and out! I ended up buying three more sets of the ice packs so I can rotate them. Love the product, and after I ended up using it for a few days my company decided to provide them to employees who wanted them :)

This vest is constructed far better than my expectations. The vest is professional quality and I see it as long-lasting with proper care. The ice packs are well-made and they attach securely with high-grade Velcro full-length strips. The front zipper is very high-grade and the adjustable elastic side straps and draw-tight stretch strings are Genious for proper snug fit. The ice packs must press against your torso for proper cooling. I first wore mine on a walk on an extremely hot summer midday. It was 91f and high relative humidity. It was fantastic! I was by no means freezing nor was I soaking wet from condensation, though it makes sense to be mindful of what you wear under the vest. By the way, the reflective properties are exceptional! You might want to purchase an extra set of ice packs if you’re going to wear the vest over an hour. The ice was 60-70 melted after 38 minutes in my case. I’m 6’4” and 260lbs and it fit perfectly on me.

The vest fits great. Super adjustable. Visibility is great too. I’m a cargo pilot in the South West and the plane gets very hot. This vest makes it bearable. In 100 degree heat the vest cooling lasts more than an hour. My only issue is the Velcro strips that hold the ice packs to the inside of the vest. A little forethought on the part of the designers would have put the soft loop side of the Velcro on the vest. As it is the vest can not be safely worn without the ice packs without the hooks pilling up your shirt. Flexifreeze please make the adjustment.

I like this product. It took some research to find it so if you did, congrats. I work up on roofs in California summer and this one makes the difference. I expanded to having 3 sets of ice cubes, what a 16 quart cooler holds. Each ice cube set cost around 35-40 and lasts an hour to hour and half. This brand is overpriced but l wanted yellow reflective so l payed 50 extra.

I bought the vest to keep my body from overheating unfortunately since it is water substance ice packs it only stays cold for 1hour and the ice packs take up to 5hours to fully freeze, I would not recommend this vest for work or outdoor activities

Edit 2: long overdue but the new vest works great. Score updated. Edit: Seller has contacted me to arrange a replacement for my defective vest. I'm adjusting my score up from 1 to 3 stars for excellent customer service. If the new vest isn't defective, I'll adjust my score further. Original review: I'm 6'4 and on the chunky side. I'm used to tac vests from airsofting so the fit was about as expected. I've worn the thing about 6 times total, 35 minutes at a stretch. In that time the zipper has already failed. Worked well enough before it died.

This vest kept me cool all day in Mississippi heat, but only after I bought extra ice packs to keep in the cooler and switch out throughout the day. It works, though, and lengthened our work days drastically.

This vest is amazing as long as you buy extra sets of ice packs. I'm a mechanic and I have to wear fire resistant overalls all day long, those clothes can get as hot as hell really fast. So, I wear this vest under my overall and I switch the ice packs every 1 1/2 to 2 hours. That keeps me comfortable all day long. It costs a lot of money to buy the whole kit but it's woth every penny.
