Herman Miller Embody Chair, Charcoal Rhythm

So I thought long and hard and did a lot of research before purchasing this chair, and now that I've had it for about a week I think I can say I made the right decision. Once properly adjusted, this chair is a dream. I have a bad lower back, and since I spend most of my time sitting at my computer for both work and play, my back was in constant pain. My $50 walmart special chair was no longer cutting it. After only a week of owning this chair, my back feels so much better it's crazy. In my old chair, my legs would go numb from my sometimes awkward sitting positions and the length of time I sat. Not anymore. Even when I sit cross-legged for hours. I will say that proper adjustment of the chair is crucial, and it took me a full day to tweak it the way it needs to be for me to be both comfortable and supported. The chair really does move with you, and it looks and feels like it's built to last a lifetime.Very pricey, but I feel like I got what I paid for, and you can't really put a price on the health of your spine.

The original package of Herman Miller is totally assembled, and when i open it, i will see the plastic bag was broken and seemed to be used one. I will buy it in official store. The back of the chair and the fabric obviously be sold by second time.

As the title says, this is a completely fantastic seating experience. The chair is incredibly comfortable and highly customizable. Let me rephrase, it is customizable to the point where it's not daunting. The only reason I've knocked off a star is that at this price point, it should really come with nicer hardwood/all-surface type wheels instead of cheap casters (far and away the cheapest part of this chair). In all fairness, most folks won't need anything other than casters, but better wheels should be standard on a chair like this.The toughest decision when I was considering a new office/computer chair was whether I wanted to spend this much on a chair. Would it be worth it? Is it really that good? YES! It really is. And when I considered I would likely keep it for 10+ years, it didn't seem as bad. All-in-all, you will not be dissatisfied. If you spend long hours per day at a desk or computer, you cannot find a better chair.

I got tired of taking pictures of the damage and dirt, so stopped at 25. I also got tired of uploading pictures of the damage, so stopped at 10. I bought this Herman Miller chair because it was well priced and described as being a brand new beautiful Herman Miller chair. I received the chair disassembled and thrown into a brown box with no packing or protection. in a brown box disassembled. I assume they packed it this was to cause even more damage, and it worked. I opened the box to see the damaged and filthy chair looking as if it been used for at least six months, if not 6 years No one bothered to even clean it before trying to pass it off as a new chair. I only buy Harmon Miller chairs and always have but know that Herman Miller would be so disappointed to see their amazing product being represented in such a way.

This chair is absolutely exceptional. Compared to the Steelcase Leap I use at my office, I definitely notice an overall improvement with the Embody. I especially like the comfort provided of the back support and the ability to easily rock back and forth while sitting. Before ordering, I was concerned about the fact that some users report hearing loud creaking noises while leaning back on this chair. Fortunately, that hasn't been my experience. My Embody is really quiet, even when I use it as a rocking chair sometimes. My only complain with this chair is its price. At $1650, it is more than 60% more expensive than a Steelcase Leap. I am not entirely sure if the embody is that much better than a Leap.
