This broke in less than 2 months and new one I got broke in 3 and a half months.
I like this but its not reliable and if buying this keep the paperwork and the receipt as it could well go faulty in less than 4 months. Be prepared to have to contact manufacturer and Amazon and return it.I got one of these on 25/05/24 which broke and just threw it away. I brought the same model 17/07/24 and that has now broken 07/11/24. This time I contacted the manufacturer Russell Hobbs on their phone number on their instruction booklet. I had to send pictures and video of it and a copy of the receipt and have been informed I wont get a free replacement and told to contact Amazon as less than 1 year old and they could not do anything. Amazon were very helpful and I have got a refund at the price I paid. The seller has put the price up. I have ordered another one and am hoping 3rd time lucky .In both cases the same problem. The mixer still works but there is a loud rattling sound inside this and it does not sound safe to use as the rattling noise gets louder if you use it again.

Very powerful and strong
Ok so I bought this to make bread and enriched doughs and to whisk eggs - NOT to whisk egg whites.I am pleased at the power of this machine and really like the egg beaters, which is just what I was looking for to make nougat.I have an electric egg WHITE whisk that I’ve had for years with great paddles, so I didn’t need that feature.I did have to weigh up whether to buy a Kitchen Aid big-ass thing but I don’t have anywhere to put it and I also can’t stand big things, especially in the kitchen.I’m making a loaf a fortnight, but I can see with this tool, I might make bread weekly? Making bread is very therapeutic and I like kneading it. What I don’t like is the very gooey mixing at the start, hence this purchase.We are told it’s impossible to over work dough by hand, but that it can happen with a mixer. I doubt it will happen with this machine, as you can feel the resistance building up in the dough as you use it, whereas with a standalone big-ass blah it’s not so easy to tell.

Not impressed!
Very thin whisk blades. Very difficult to get the secondary blade out. Would not recommend. My last Russel Hobbs hand held whisk was much more robust, and lasted several years. This one does not appear to be made to the same standards. I will not be buying any more Russel Hobbs items.
