This beach blanket is like a parachute material and was a last minute purchase before heading to our favorite beach. It is just what we had been searching for!!! We were tired of constantly shaking the sand off our beach towels. This is perfect to place your beach towels on for added protection from sand getting on them. This size blanket worked great for two XL beach towels with extra room. It features triangle pockets on all corners to fill with sand. Takes a minute to fill and eliminates the need for stakes. We never needed to worry about it flying away in the wind. I love the Boho pastel colors! So pretty and beachy! I also absolutely love the webbed bag it comes with. The beach blanket folds up and fits perfectly in the small bag it comes with. The packaging and information/satisfaction card were nice touches too. I have not washed it yet. However, I think a hand wash on cold cycle and hanging dry will work wonderful judging from the material. I highly recommend this! Now if we could just keep our pups off the beach blanket as they love to lay on it as well at the beach!! LOL! ❤️🐕🌴🌊 😁

I ordered the 7x9 blanket for a family of 4. It is huge, lightweight, and packs up smaller than my previous blanket. All 4 of us can lay our towels, plus more, on top of this blanket, which was the intention. It does seem like it would easily repel sand. Being thin, this is ideal for softer ground such as sand or grass, but would not be ideal over concrete. The material is smooth and soft, similar to slightly thicker parachute material. I purchased this brand due to the adorable designs, and found few companies on Amazon that offered fun designs. I am a little disappointed with the lack of boldness on the pink/yellow side of the blanket as it seems washed out compared to the blue/green side, making the design unbalanced and unable to see the top of the semi circle on the pink side. The large white area is driving my crazy, ha. The kids love the blanket, and the design, and it will function as needed. However I am considering returning it for the smaller size for two reasons: 1) The smaller size is similar to the sizes we have used in the past, and I'm not sure we will utilize the larger surface area. Yes, you could found the blanket to the needed size but you would lose the convenience of the sand bags and also the beauty of seeing the entire design 2) Maybe I'll have better luck with the design colors on a smaller blanket.

Took this on my travels and it was perfect. It truly is lightweight and water resistant. It was easy to take around as it folded nicely into the mesh bag and was lightweight. The design is super cute and the size is larger than any beach blanket I have found. What I love most about it are the pockets in each corner. You put sand into each pocket and the blanket never moves. It was easy to release the sand from the pockets when it was time to pack up.

It's been hot here in So. Cal, and everything is closed from the Pandemic. We've been going to the beach most weekend mornings to escape the heat and the throngs of people. Our beach is small, and close by, and less busy than other popular beaches, so it's ideal for us to take the kids and run out some energy. That said, when yo have kids, a trip to the beach means LOADS of GEAR! I needed to make more space in my beach bag, and my bulky beach blanket was the first thing to go! I still need something for everyone to sit on under the umbrella, and so the search for a thin blanket began! This thing checks all the boxes for me! water resistant, Super easy to fold up small and it fits easily into its storage bag too! It's washable (I just washed it for the first time yesterday, and it turned out perfect!) doesn't require a wash every single time we use it, and it takes up almost no space in my bag! The corner pockets for sand work surprisingly well! The sand holds the corners down so the blanket doesn't fly away, but the material repels it, so when you empty the pockets, you;re not bringing the entire beach home with you. Also, it's big! Big enough for everyone to have plenty of space. It's bigger than my queen size blanket I was using before. We can bring other people with us once the apocalypse is over! If you go to the beach often, and you have a family, this thing is an absolute must!

This was perfect for going to the pool and lake. The water literally beads right off! Everything just bounces right back off of it which is literally perfect. Also it’s massive! We ended up leaving it folded half way for the pool and opened fully for the lake. Also- it has literal pockets for your stuff to be inconspicuous. Perfect beach blanket.

Works good, but not sand resistant. Reminds me of a cheap fabric shower curtain type material. I thought it would be more similar to a softer sandproof blanket I've seen of other products, but it's my own fault for not reading the description more thoroughly. If it is rained upon, water just sits on top, which it kind of disappointing. Otherwise it worked good for the beach to give me something to sit and lay on. The pockets in the corners to fill with sand to weigh it down are a good feature, and I also like that it comes with a storage bag.

Fast delivery and great blanket... it's huge ... the pockets on the corners will be great to fill with sand to prevent the blanket from lifting in the wind ... smooth texture will also make brushing the sand off easy ... I look forward to using this on our family holiday to Bali 🤩🏖🏝🌞

Nice size, waterproof material, doesn't lose its color after washing. Fast drying and stays down with filling corner pockets

I love the pockets u fill with sand. The pattern is super cute and just like the photo. The material is wicked. It dryer quickly and the sand falls right off.
