THE INTRUDER - "A Reverse GET OUT"
On the DVD cover, there's a critic's quote which describes THE INTRUDER (2019) as "a reverse Get Out", which might be an interesting way to describe this film, as it seems to take elements from Jordan Peele's Get Out (2017), and attempts to spin them around. Michael Ealy and Meagan Good were actually pretty decent and likeable as the couple who move into a house in the Napa Valley outback, but it is Dennis Quaid who steals the show as the house's previous owner who has a sinister obsession with the house. One of the rare few times where Quaid plays a villain.Written by David Loughery who also wrote Obsessed (2009), I will say that THE INTRUDER is actually a pretty decent little horror-thriller to enjoy on movie night. Even with the obvious flaws in it (such as why the couple don't think of calling the police on Quaid), and how it seems to have some kind of pro-gun and "conservatives vs. millennials" theme in it, I thought that Quaid makes the film worth the watch just for his duplicitous performance, and even the other characters are very likeable as well, it actually felt good to see a horror film that actually had likeable characters in it. I may be one of the rare few people who actually like this film, and I say that's okay. Maybe take the chance to watch THE INTRUDER with your friends on one night, to get a chuckle or scare out of it.

If you're looking for something scary, this is not it. It is more of a thriller. It's a pretty good movie though!

Tells you to look into everything about a house before you buy.
Used for my entertainment. It tells about what can happen if you dont consider everything about a house and its history before buying.

Come on, Really?! who does that?!
Okay, it was better than the other movie I ordered. But the wife character got on my nerves. I mean really?. Who sells a house, then is allowed to just keep showing up?

Poor Quality
The worst DVD ever purchased. Poor quality seemed like a pirate copy. There was no sound throughout the movie.
