Does what it's made to do
Easy to install. It did fail to work one trip but the next time I started the truck it was working again. I would buy this again without hesitation. I despise auto start/stop!

May interfere with charging system
I purchased this switch for my 2019 F-150 5.0L a couple months back. While it works to shut off the start/stop function, I found that it clashed with the PCM and caused charging fault errors to be increasingly sent (even though charging was within proper range). Ultimately I pulled it out because I was receiving dozens of charging system error messages a day. Since then the error messages have essentially stopped. Upon further research it appears that the start/stop function is linked to the information used by the PCM to set proper charging levels (it is one of the first functions shut down in low charge situations). The interruption of the OEM setup appears to have confused the PCM and created this scenario with repeated charging system error messages to be displayed. The start/stop function is annoying so I was keen to install the shutoff, but in the end the PCM disruption with this product installed became more problematic.

Easy installation. Button is disabled at startup and remains off, but will not reactivate.

Works, but you could just unplug the BMS connector from the negative terminal to do the same thing
Works, but you could just unplug the BMS connector from the negative terminal to do the same thing. There will be an error code if you check with a scan tool, but it doesn't result in a check engine light.
