Unlike the Dualit toasters which state they are handmade in the UK, this kettle does not. In fact, it's hard to find any label on the product or packaging which tells you where it was made. It has been mentioned on other sites it's made in China. I think it's made in China.

Q: What is the material ?

It’s plastic, painted with metallic paint. It looks cheap and flimsy. I promptly returned it.

Very Nice Kettle!

I bought this for my son when he moved into his first home. My son loves it! Also, his sister visited and I got a call. Apparently, this is MUCH better than the one I purchased for her. Oops.

Genuine Steel Not Plastic

Check reviews on Amazon.co.uk for this kettle. Brits use their kettles multiple times a day and this kettle is highly rated by 1k+ reviewers. Also the review that says this kettle is plastic painted silver is wrong. It's a steel kettle.
