This shower chair arrived in pieces in a box. It is VERY easy to assemble. The seat is very generous and has built-in handles to assist with standing up. It also has a slightly curved back— it’s a CHAIR, not a stool. The chair has adjustable height legs with rubber anti-slip bottoms and it is very sturdy and stable. The seat and back do have a small, slightly raised pattern texture also to aid in not slipping off the chair. I do expect to need to use a scrub brush on it to keep it clean.The shower chair is good value for the money, but while it is generous in size, it does take up a lot of space. Our free standing shower stall has a built in bench which is unsafe to sit on as it’s sloped and slippery). The chair took up too much room so we had to return it. It would probably be great in a tub shower but if you have a free-standing shower, be sure to consider the chair’s dimension when deciding! Overall, it is an excellent product.

Got this item for my fiancé so I could help him wash his hair after he had a major surgery (hes much taller than me). It was easy to put together and you can adjust the height of the legs a pretty fair amount. Its very sturdy. Great value for the price. The width of the legs were just a little too far apart for it to suction to our bathtub though, so make sure you pay attention to dimensions in case thats something you need.

All shower chairs are not created equal, the majority are too flimsy for the average adult. This one is the best one I've tested, not heavy in weight but it has a solid feel that give you confidence that it won't fail you and tip, twist or fail to support. Highly recommended!

THE CHAIR'S CONSTRUCTION AND DESIGN ARE FINE. THE PROBLEM WAS WITH THE INCLUDED "THUMB SCREWS".TWO OF THE IMBEDDED ANCHORS WERE APPARENTLY DAMAGED DURING INSTALLATION. THIS MADE THE TIGHTENING SEQUENCE OF THE THUMB SCREWS IMPOSSIBLE. LUCKILY I HAVE A METRIC TAP AND DIE SET AT MY DISPOSAL SO I WAS ABLE TO ''CHASE" THE THREADS AFTER I WAS ABLE TO DETERMINE THE CORRECT BOLT DIAMETER AND THREAD SIZE. HAD I NOT BEEN ABLE TO DO THIS, THE SCHAIR WOULD HAVE BEEN 1/2 WAY RETURNED BY NOW.IF THE THUMB SCREWS CANNOT BE TIGHTENED ANY FURTHER BUT THERE IS STILL "SLOP" IN THE FIT, YOU MOST LIKELY HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM. DON'T TRY AND FORCE THEM. UNDO, REPACK AND RETURN.

Sturdy, well-made, and easy to put together.

It was easy to assemble and it fits nicely in my walk-in shower. Also, it’s seat is comfortable.

This has been such great help with my grandma, bath time has improved tremendously. It’s sturdy, lightweight and easy to clean.
