Not bad, it works great
Was skeptical but it worked great and as advertised

and it works great. This powered all 3 of my 120mm fans ...
I did not connect this to my motherboard but I did connect this cable to my PSU and to my 120mm 4 pin fans, and it works great. This powered all 3 of my 120mm fans with 4 pins per fan no problem. I am to scared to hook this up to my system fan header on my motherboard as I don't trust the flower of power from the PSU thru this cable to my motherboard system fan header, as I don't want to electrically short out my motherboard.

Best PWM splitter
It may not look as pretty as some of the other options but it does exactly what it should & also offers a Molex connector for power to the extra fans. This is important because many PWM splitters do not have a Molex connector, instead relying on power from the motherboard fan header which usually doesn't supply enough energy for more than 1 or 2 good fans. Most of the cheaper or lower-end case fans draw around 0.15-0.3 amps, but they usually have low or very low airflow around 25-50 CFM. A regular splitter could handle 3-4 of those while being powered by most motherboard fan headers. I like the Cooler Master JetFlo 120's or Corsair ML120's or ML140's because they flow 95+ CFM without being much louder than some of the 50CFM fans (and have 3-5x the life expectancy because of the bearings they use), but they draw 0.22 amps (ML120) to 0.42 amps (JetFlo) each so many motherboards would only be able to handle 1 or 2 of them (though some motherboards could handle 3 or 4, but not many). Then there are the Delta fans which draw 2-4 amps each but flow 200-250CFM which no motherboard could even power 1 directly. This splitter uses the PWM header from the motherboard to control the fans as a group but the Molex powers them, thereby not risking burning out your motherboard's fan circuits. Be aware, however, it is best if all the fans you attach are the same model or at least have the same operating RPM range.

It splits things, but I recommend identical good quality fans
Works well, got here fast. I use this to power several computer case fans from my power supply but have them all simultaneously speed controlled from one motherboard header. It works pretty well, but since the fans I have aren't the greatest quality, they don't all spin at exactly the same speed so once in a while you can hear a slight resonance. That's not a ding on the splitter, it's a ding on my fans. I have a better set of fans on another splitter that spin perfectly in sync.

All was good until smoke appeared
I thought this looked like a decent option so I purchased.Hooked this up to a system with 3 fans each with a max power draw of 1.1amp at 12volt. This is high for most PC fans, but I figured since this was using a molex connector and had the connections in parallel not series it could take it.The machine powered off and I couldn't get it back on. Fiddled with all sorts of things. Finally I started moving wires and pressing the power button. Finally poof this thing went as shown in the pictures. Somehow that wire was out of its connector and at least one wire totally melted.I can't say I am not at fault, but this thing sure isn't scott free either.

Worth the money
You get what you pay for, be careful plugging it in because it /is/ cheap, but it has given me no issues so far and is working as intended.

good value and works.
Good price for what I needed. I added another fan for the cpu but ran out of mother board power fan pins. 2 pin molex and fan power plug fit fine and worked. Molex pins were not loose like some other products.

cheap... prone to falling apart
When i attached the molex adapter to my psu, the wire fell out the back of the adapter... but i pushed it back in and it works, but i am just going to have to check it everytime i move things around in my case i guess... but it does work, it just make me feel like i could have made it if it was going to be so low quality.
